Trials is team based game play. Greatest tip is get a pick and plsy defensive on it. Build your super, supers win games, or can start momentum for a comeback. If you play pulse, be proactive, push left inside, keep cover and burst down into center, but don't commit fully. Your life is precious, you're the difference between the L or the dub. My biggest advice for those trying, dont give up! Take a five minute break if you're getting frustrated, breath, retake the match!

Oh and if you're a icey boi subclass running duskfield and you're fighting yeet titans, throw a dusk field at your feet, if they missile strike in, your team can earn free kill

I lost track of how many matches I had yesterday that were influenced by your first point here, playing defensively on a kill - I noticed how consistently a team lost if they went in too aggressively; one guy gets picked off and now it's a 3 v 2, someone dies trying to get the res and now it's a 3 v 1, happened so many times. Like by all means res it's important to do but do it safely. I also noticed a rather silly number of Titans, in one match there were 5 of them (I was on my Icey Boi Hunter) and it was sooooo tedious - I think I had raid boss level damage done due to using Disparity and popping all those barricades, lol

Biggest thing I notice with playing freelance is how many players have no awareness or common sense whatsoever so many times I’ll push up get 1-2 kills get killed by the last guy and as soon as I die I’ll see my teamates retreat while the last guy up revives his whole team and then stomps the two on mine. It happens all the time

Did a card last night. Geez games on this map with this meta is so boring. Ppl sitting as far back down the tunnels as possible and not moving. Lot of games ppl used the floating cheese spot exploit where you can’t see them and they can you. Got the flawless and dipped.

Unlocked Trials for the first time and proceeded to win 6 in a row to go Flawless on my first go. Yes, it was dumb luck of matchmaking but this video helped a lot to prepare for what to expect. My biggest takeaways were to pick your battles, know when to dip (which is usually instantly and find another angle of surprise), and figure out how to exploit the map.

ive been playing this game since day one and I haven't done flawless always 6 wins then steamrolled I HATE bungie

I’ve been trying to learn as much as I can. I’ve always done better as a void hunter, and I’m trying to play with fusions. Warming up a fusion shot takes away invisibility so I went to solar. Solar is a lot less survivable. I’m thinking I’m gonna give up fusions.😑

Healing grenades are your best friend, I win so many gunfights and 1v2s because they think they can rush me if I’m slightly tagged.

I’ve got my flawless title and have gone flawless 16 times and used to be in the top 7% of trials. Now I win 1 in 5. I mean I only play solo now and don’t try like I used to but no it’s awful even in freelance

To me it isn't even about being good enough. I'm very good but I play solo and I get 5 easy and then get teamed with people who literally can't get a single kill so it's 3 v 1 and I lose. It happened for years so I gave up as well

Wow, I dont play trials much as Apex scratches my PvP itch much better, but I suffered through freelance for about 10 hours this weekend for some challenges/hand cannon rolls, and after suffering and sucking for many games, I ended up with syncopation/ikelos and just running left to right on the map spamming duskfields as well. I'd say I agree this way is best

If anyone wants a good fusion that’s underrated focus engrams for gambit gun trinary system it’s only 25 shards and I got the roll of under pressure high impact reserves and this thing shreds people. Charge time is good and one shots all the time and can get up to 6 perks if u have a couple resets

That mistake at 4:20 I made sooooooo many times yesterday, thinking I could get one of them or not disengaging quick enough. I have a couple of questions about guns/perks. My Disparity has the same perks as your Syncopation - is Syncopation better or is it just preference? If the SMG is for close range is the extra range provided by Rangefinder needed? - I'm shit and there's likely something I'm missing, but I don't feel like that extra meter or so from Rangefinder is better than what TTT provides.

Hey Jake just a question can u do a test is something I kinda feel like but I feel that when I have the full auto setting and just press the trigger of a Pulse the shoot between are more slower then when I just tap between shots it’s just a question I don’t know if it’s just me or just how I feel about certain weapons

Unfortunately I can only get 3-4 wins and I lose. Bungie matches me up with decent players and my team usually dies immediately so idk what to do. I’m not amazing. I’m 1.2 KD on normal PVP and like .6 on trials. It suck’s. 😢

I was using disparity with trinary system in freelance I won 7 out of 9 rounds im ticked off I got 5 wins in a row then got matched with 2 people running the dumbest guns and didn’t get any kills. Seems like most of my runs I get 5 or 6 wins then screwed. This is why I don’t like trials I’m a solo player so it’s not good experience

Xims are out of control in console lobbies. Mad crouch spam and pc movement you can just tell the fact the crouch spam isn’t setting off their ability and the accuracy whilst doing it. Cheating is so bad atm.

Had a game like this where the other teams names were all in Chinese or something and they were the best team I’d played all day hiring unbelievable shots moving 10x faster than normal all over the map just insta wiping my whole team no matter how we engaged went and looked up their stats afterwards and all 3 were .7 kd and lower shit was definitely shady

That’s not cheaters that’s a skill issue. There really isn’t many cheaters anymore and as a 2.5 kd player if you’re a 0.7 you are getting rolled no question.
