The first tables video is a must watch before watching the rest of the videos.
Almost all tables games have a common mechanic: players get 15 pieces each, a board consists of 24 points and there are 2 dice, you must go through the entire board and remove all the pieces from the board before your opponent does. Other common rules: you can place bet more than one piece on a point, two dice are two separate moves, doubles are played twice, it is forbidden to move on the field occupied by the opponent's pieces, you cannot skip a move, unless a move is impossible. The rules for bearing pieces off, described in the video, are the same in all variants. If one player bear off all the pieces, and the other - none, then this is a double loss, which is called "mars" (or "gammon" in English-speaking world).
Variants of tables will be described in other videos - the main difference between them is the initial position, the direction of movement (to one side or opposite each other) and what happens to the piece when it stands on the point by itself. The rest of the rules are the same.
