Great version Marty, I appreciate the barless version of this song and brings back so many memories of 1975. It’s one of those strum patterns that You recognize immediately when you hear it and know what song it is. Love playing this song. Ventura Highway would be another great one to do. Thanks always !

Love it Marty, I have followed you for a while. Each time I find a song I want to learn to play I just look you up and I be darn you have it! Well I have played guitar on and off since age 11 and still feel like a beginner. Everytime I get there something happens. First time I had my right hand crushed one night doing factory work making glass bottles and second time I had a brain operation left my the left side Paralyzed for a year and with working out and working on the guitar I eventually got back to maybe 70% on that side with my hands, Now I had a mild stroke on my right side and found out that I have cerebral atrophy no cure no way of stopping it. Well the heck with that I re strung the guitar and am back playing thanks to you for the past year I have improved. Keep the songs coming. Thank You!

Hey Marty, I am a huge fan of yours. But as a suggestion, you name all the chords used but not in order. Maybe list them in order and call them out as you play it for the first time. Then go into playing it and singing. It would help a ton. Thank you.

That is a great suggestion. The reason I do it the way I do is so that the student will spend time learning the chords and then play along with me as if I was in your kitchen playing with you. Which is how I learned, by playing along in someone’s kitchen and stumbling through the chords TIL they all made sense. I hope you understand the method to my madness. Good luck to you

Marty, great thanks. However can call out the chord changes at least once during the demo. Using my phone its hard to see the difference between F and your C in this song. Is there a way to say or list the chords for into Am, F, C chorus,F? crossover etc makes it easier for a beginner. Easiest way is to call them out. Overall it's only this song that confuses me. Overall your teaching technique is great. Thanks
