Makes me wonder who the other targets would’ve been… it was good to know that Anna (from the SR2 intro talk show) and Dex were the second and final targets respectively, but we may never know who the other hits were meant to be… Regardless, it’s good to see this has a much easier method to play now.

I like how all the dedicated saints row channels arent even creating content on the new saints row. Im disappointed in myself that I defended that game all the way up till release, keeping hope alive. I didnt want to go along with the crowd who called it trash without even seeing any gameplay, I remained positive. Even after I first saw gameplay, I seen potential although there were flaws which I expected to be fixed by launch. But then came launch, and the gameplay looked exactly how it looked when I first saw it, soulless. And I'm one who doesnt play saints row for the story so seeing the direction the story was going in, it didnt bother me, as long as the gameplay was fun... But actually seeing cutscenes after the game came out was a different story. I dont see how i could sit through that without want to off myself. Volition are a bunch clowns who just happen to make video games.

@jbiehlable only good things I've noticed were the character creation which I had the most fun out of any creator creating all sorts of wacky characters, the rap stations, and the map layout.

Man Xenia is in such a good place right now. The latest canary builds can also run Saints Row 1 at full speed.

Yep, can confirm, played in full with no issues or fps drops. 2 as well, so people can play DLCs now. Although had to disable glow from lights in timecycle file in SR2- it was shining through objects.

​@@SlowpokeVG Yeah I gave 2 a try as well and had that lights issue as well. Seems to be a common problem across a few games but with how rapid the development has been lately I'm sure it will be patched sooner than later. The DLC and stability is probably one of the best reasons to play this version currently. And with the way Volition seems to be going lately I do worry about the future of the Saints Row 2 PC update.

@@xbestation5031 Yeah, RPCS3 is a better alternative to the PC or Switch versions but the 360 version has the best graphics, least bugs and no Director's Cut cutscenes. I'm building a rig right now that isn't really emulation focused (5800X3D) but should do okay so after I manage to find a decently priced GPU it will be one of the first games I test.

Anything I can find about this tutorial really is helping me out.

the Saints Row reboot was so sad that people would rather play a cancelled saints row game

This specific build of Xenia is just for SR Money Shot but you should be able to play SR1 with the vanilla version of the program. Swagbruhloon has a tutorial to play SR1 with the best Xenia settings and his description has a link to the base Xenia if you need it kzread.info/dash/bejne/YpyIzZSAiaXdepc.html

Funny Rockstar didn't get the memo on the failure of Saints Woke 2022 since now GTA 6 is going that same route.

This is really interesting to know saintgodzilla. Saddened you cant really talk bout the Saints row reboot you saw during your trip. I really hope your NDA expires real fast or it gets canned once volition goes bankrupt.
