Bluebird trop fish is a good combo if you get them, but I feel like the main way I play is more the 2nd game style. Lose a lot early and try to pivot into big boys with all the gold and scaling from goldfish, lobster, cans.

7:15 How come leveling up didn't give two tier 6 pets to choose from? I stopped playing awhile ago, so maybe thats a ranked thing or something else, but looked super weird

They wanted to avoid you from stalling level ups, that's why you don't get level-up pets from stacking 2 level 2s,but as a remedy you now get to choose from 2 pets from leveling up the normal way. You didn't use to get to choose from 2 pets after levelling up.
