How do you deal with stuff like LumberLoon at the bridge, with arrows for your archers? I feel like I get caught out with that play really often as I have no answer with pumpbow. Especially when it's their first play. Or lavahound first play, for that matter. You can cycle multiple sets of archers but if they get a big lavaloon push those new archers never really cut it, since you have to xbow to pull the balloon away from the lavahound.

Might just have to eat damage and finesse with archers and ice spirit then stack pumps early

It might be one of those things where it might be better to tower trade instead, or pressure them to avoid them from getting a big push off

knight+building might be a better solution (if he drops both first play),you may take some damage but at least you are still alive

can't help you with lumberloon first play since your starting hand means you either defend only taking deathbomb or you take up to 2 loon hits but if you pump in front of the king tower you can lead the loon to activate king with defensive xbow later on while the xbow takes out lumberjack. Offensive xbow in the middle is also an option if you have a pump up

You should probably add the caveat that you must have max level cards eragon. Even if you're the best pumpbow player you ain't getting top placements and learning interactions with a level 13 deck

The best variation of pumpbow I have found for this meta. Switch out the gobs for Tesla and the fire spirit for little prince. It makes the deck slightly heavier, but you draw out more big spells with prince and you can easily defend things like hog, lava, and lumber loon decks

little prince isn’t as viable after the balance and tesla has already been like worst building. It’s also almost unplayable having 3 building and swapping them in only helps in those match ups specifically. Goblins are way more versatile on defense than tesla.
