how about owning steam for the past 20 years and able to own 100x if not 7000x more games then you while also putting over 100 hours in each of them because we dont buy games we have a vague interest in and then taking all those nintendo games playstation exclusives est and emulating them on the same console thru steam for ease of use so you just have to search your game and it will be there ready to play in seconds because you have every game you want installed on your hard drive

I wonder if there was someone out there that was like "oh man I can't wait to play afro samurai 2 on my ps5"

This is why I bought the disc version. You can still buy old ps4 games at huge discounts/used) instead of from the ps store. Even though they have good deals too sometimes.

You can also use a flash drive to backup/transfer your save files .

Etheral101 well the interface also encompasses many features, such as Xboxes quick resume, will there be a feature similar on the ps5? We don’t know. There could be a lot of things- we just dont know. It must be something big because why is it taking so long to show it

For a while I was leaning towards getting the digital PS5 since its 100€ cheaper and in the last year all my games have been digital downloads, but since there would be no way to play my physical disk games, (which happen to be all of my favourites) I think I will go with a regular PS5 some time in 2021 if it gets a good bundle with Horizon or the next God of war.

Sony should have emphasized the backwards compatability. It justifies the price of the physical edition a little bit. Just a little. Being able to play your ps4 discs is a better selling point

the game would work since ps don't lock regions... but you still need to check with save.. since it most likely you still need to replay them...

Looks like on Black Friday I’m going ham on PS4 games to play on PS5. Also with the ssd drives deleting and reinstalling games should be a lot faster than before so picking and choosing what game to have on my system will be no problem until I get another NVME SSD drive.

Ok... You make it sound like they punching them in the gut or something. PS5 still won't go further beyond in backwards compatibility for PS1, 2 & 3. But Xbox Series can literally do the same thing if not better than what PS5 if we talking backwards compatibility functions lol. It's cheaper to resell games to buy the newer ones when you are done unless it's like your fav game but even then I rather sell it and buy it in the future, remember present value is always worth more then future value, unless it's a rare copy.

So um are the games exactly the same or are the graphics better or does something change?

Pay to upgrade game from ps4 to ps5 ⁉️ I really hope that wont be a thing

Please, if possible just make the game run at 60fps nothing more nothing less.

@@fedenadur all ps4 games will run 60fps , ps5 games will run more then 128fps

@@dario5179 imagine you have 20 ps4 games and the “upgrade cost” is 20 $ each , that would really add up . you see how that would be messed up that would be?? It should be completely free ‼️

Can you play online multiplayer PS4 games on the PS5?

I'm definitely gonna get the PS5 this year or the end of the year since the games I have are playable: Tales of Arise, Final Fantasy VII Remake and Devil May Cry 5. Saving about $550 to buy only the Disk edition and NOT the Digital edition!
