In this Casual tutorial, were going to learn how to play all of Kill team narrative. This includes both the Spec Ops Campaign in open board and Gallowdark expedition adventuring the dangers of a warp twisted space hulk! We'll also go over great methods for organizing your campaigns.

Very helpful breakdown of the rules! and at a great time too. Ive got a Fellgor Ravager narrative team in the works, 1 Leader and 9 Warriors, and will slowly use the ruinous gift requisition they have to promote warriors to specialists, representing the Leader's influence as he grows his warherd

Hey, great video, as always! I really love the guides you've been making recently. I have an example of using Critical Ops 2022 rules in a Narrative campaign. With my play group any time somebody was required to complete an old Tac Op by a Spec Op, we just allowed the player to take it for as long as it was required and explain it to the opponent on reveal. But, then again, we use the rule of gentlemen agreement a lot. As we say in our language, we're not playing for a prize cow. :)

Great vid- so much content covered here! The narrative rules can feel laborious as it takes 6 games to finish one Spec Op and it can take several games before operatives level up their XP. Shortening Spec Ops is an easy fix, but does anyone have any ideas on how to tweak earning XP?

Fast and easy fix, double exp. Over our 9 mission campaign most operatives we're reaching at least 1 honor per operative for large teams and a few models with 2 for more elite teams. do you can expect ops to have 2 or 3 honors around at the end of 9 games if you do that We had a great solution mentioned on our discord: using the gallowdark expedition rules on open board missions. It transfers basically 1:1. This gets you commendations much faster and makes it consistent for everyone. Ide recommend this instead of double exp
I know there's some unofficial lists online, but id like to see an official adaptation of critical ops 2022 tac ops into spec ops
