Being a beginner, how can you hold a C base flute? Even the expert flutists cannot properly hold and play a c base flute.

Hello Manuraj ji, I am in seventies, while playing on G Bass I have problem stretching right hand ring finger to Pa, I can use pinky finger instead. What excersize can I do so the ring finger reaches to Pa. I tried different thumb placement nothing helps. May be the flexibility not there. Help please.
