There are better guitarists with better lessons on YT, but Marty is one of my favorites because he is such a good communicator. He seems like the kind of guy you’d just like to smoke a blunt with and drink beers together.

Thanks man! Been trying to retrain myself on guitar and I love this song. My 89 year old grandfather plays harmonica while I sing and play guitar to a few Neil Young songs now

First song I ever learned too, taught to me by my older brother. Great song, but I'll always have an extra special affection for it because of that, even after playing 40 years +. Neil Young is a great place to start for beginners, few songwriters have so many GREAT songs that are also pretty simple.

Marty, you are a terrific teacher -- well-spoken, personable, and extremely knowledgeable...just wish there was a musical ledger to follow everything you explained in this session...all the best!

I just gotta share how helpful these videos are. I played guitar for 3 years steady. Forgot about it for another 3. I just got a new acoustic guitar and these are THE MOST helpful videos I've ever learned off of. Loving it so far and can't wait to discover some more, Thanks already. Seriously 50 thumbs up. This learning strategy is key for me.

Great video Marty. Digging the Hendrix lessons lately as well. Although this is a beginner song it really seems like your playing something a bit more difficult, it's a trick to your ears . My first song that I learned really well. Ive played a bit then quit when I was very young. My teenage son plays electric gutair and got me back into it when we went to the local gutiar center. I even bought myself an acustic so we xould play together. Thank you Marty for sharing your great skills.
