Celestial armor, can’t be said enough, is almost always decent enough and never a bad choice! Every char I geared with other stats, I regretted it a few weeks later and wished to have used celestial again🙈 eg trailblazer for condi berserker

If you take a build from someone else and it has a skill on it that you don't use, get rid of that skill. If you don't use it, it's a dead spot in your skillbar and is hurting you more than helping you. If there's another skill that isn't as strong but is one that you'll actually use, that's the skill that should be in that slot. So, if you are looking at the various sites for builds, make sure you check and see if they have given options for skills. They might make a build you struggle with into a build you succeed with.

Great tip! This will 100% improve your experience in the game. But do keep in mind, check if the skill has a passive bonus (you can see this by hovering over it with your mouse). If you remove a passive you might lose some extra defense or offense!

Glad it was helpful! It was a more straightforward, shorter video for me! Simply because I didn't have the time to produce something longer right now! :)

For those that are here because they don’t have people to play with. Just ask questions in map chat if you need it. If you don’t wanna play solo 9/10 times a welcoming person will help you and show you around and invite you to a casual guild. As you make friends through this casual guild you can find small groups that might want to do other content. You can join up to 5 guilds and after 3 days I’m already in 2 that have been very helpful

Just bare in mind if you ask questions in maps in game, people can and most certainly do cluster up and harass & cyber bully just for questions. source: experience... Don't expect people to always help in game. It's actually better to ask OUTSIDE it...

Lord Hizen has the best builds for sure!

2 yrs ago when I was a newbie I use these defensive stats that you mentioned but right now, I bring my glasscannon Raid DPS build in open world. What I can say is that the veterans are right, offense is the best defense in this game.

I used to do that as well. But I'm hella lazy these days and I'm looking for a more laidback build. I still rock some Guardian Raid Builds on full berserker in open world though haha

For me definitely Scourge with Trailblazer/Viper stats and Bladesworn with berserker + valkyrie stats armor...I have never died with these two while playing solo

Works great! Trailblazer gives you that survivability with the toughness and vitality.

At 1:10 you have a pop saying that the footage is of a Dragonhunter, but it's a willbender.

Dammit. You are correct. Apologies for this small, but annoying error!

Some classes have higher hp and dont really need stats with vitality, in such cases you can use a mix stats like cavalier knights berserkers assassins etc that focus on precision ferocity power and toughness instead of soldiers. It also varies from spec to spec like celestial is not always best in slot(such as bladesworn or spellbreaker on warrior.)

Also a big part of soloing especially when it comes to events with really strong enemies like champs and legendarys is just knowing when to move and cast skills, its all just practice and time, but the game gets alot easier once you learn how to dodge and where/when to stand/walk out of attacks, like alot of really dangerous attacks can be completely avoided just by walking a few steps.

It might not be best in slot but it's best for a "one size fits all" playstyle

..As someone who's been with this game since beta, and Gw1 beta before that.... I immensely appreciate this considering in all those years even the 'good' experience came with very deep scars. No I am not exaggerating nor attention seeking , I won't go into actual details the point isn't to tell every last excruciating detail; I am merely being honest that I have been so damn driven to 1000% solo if anything, that not everyone has the best experience nor choice to be solo other than quit.. (& distraught instead of excitement over the new expansion announcement making me realize I have to make a very important decision thus that I looked this up as a last resort before what feels inevitably deleting my account.) So definitely worth a shot to try this. Thank you sir. You may just turn this game around for me yet... (PS, no i don't actually 'want' to delete my account....It's just been that bad. Worse since COVID too. It's why I do not understand when anyone praises the 'community'... One of if not the worst I've been in and I am an ex League Of Legends Player...so....) fingers crossed... Because I do love the game.. Just not......people..... 💘 (And yes....I've since tried to stay away from any multiplayer game..)

​@@KyosikaThank you, it means a lot you understand & this wasn't too much. True, definitely a lot less to worry about that way & I really did enjoy the Game as the Game, Story, Music & World. Mhm. Haven't gotten to try anything as my Computer is down, but thank you.
