YourGuitarSage I love your instructional videos and also the Complete Guitar System lesson package that was purchased for me as a gift from my wife for Christmas. I have been around music most of my entire life having grown up around my father and sister who were both professional musicians. Now that my Father passed in December of 2015 and my Sister just passed in October of this year I am the only musically inclined member left in my family. I have always been told and believe that music is the only true think and know that no one can take away from you and your faith in God to add to that. Anyway thank you so much for helping me with learning to play guitar once and for all for my own love of music, the pride it brings being able to do so and I think playing guitar is very therapeutic also. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, God bless. Thanks again!!!

I honestly feel like I've learned more in the last week or so of watching your videos than I have in the last 20 years of "teaching" myself. I had really lost my love for playing over the last few years but had recently been picking it up a bit more again....now that I've been watching your lessons and tips and getting a lot deeper into actually learning MUSIC and GUITAR I have the guitar in my hands every spare moment I have. I always saw video titles about lessons, tips, etc., but never clicked until a couple weeks ago. I immediately realized how valuable these can be and had to subscribe. Every time I watch it feels like everything I've been doing the last 20 years finally makes sense and my mind is blown with how much I've been missing. I love playing guitar and always will and after watching and practicing I feel like there is so much I'm learning that I can parlay into learning so many other, mainly stringed, instruments, and growing musically. Thanks so much for the videos and for reigniting my passion for not only playing guitar, but for music in general! btw...I'm still playing an old acoustic Alvarez I bought from a pawn shop the day in 1999 I decided I couldn't keep using friends' guitars if I REALLY wanted to learn to play. I'd love to hear all of this new knowledge pouring out of an instrument that will really do it justice!

YourGuitarSage Well, this is timely, considering one of the biggest fires in California's history is currently burning in the state. Although I'd never before heard this song (believe it or not), I have to think it's about California. A section of Interstate 5 in the San Joaquin Valley is known as The Grapevine. Art mirrors life. This is a very cool song. I always find your instruction understandable and encouraging. The fact that you enjoy what you're doing is palpable. It sets a very positive, comfortable mood for your lessons, like sitting down with a favorite family member or old friend. It's a great way to learn guitar.

YourGuitarSage Have you uploaded a lesson for "Where Is My Mind?" by The Pixies? I love that song but I want to learn the Puddles Pity Party arrangement which is by Storm Large and The Balls. I'm not asking for much. 😉 Check it out. I'm serious. Is this doable? A bunch of Puddles fans would throw themselves at your feet, if you'd put up a "Where Is My Mind?" lesson. kzread.info/dash/bejne/rImC15WMZt2dgco.html

This morning I woke my wife by playing the happy birthday song as it is her birthday today, and added some new techniques I learned from here. She absolutely loved it being awakened in that manner and we sang songs and laughed and almost forgot to have our breakfast! Thanks for the various types of songs and techniques that you have taught me to make this day one to remember.

We all can't be a music teacher. we don't know how to put our feelings down into music. But you do. You carefully opens old wounds, spilling them out onto music for us to feel. For us to feel connected. We're not alone. And that's why i adore you. You have a way to open your soul and shed light into it. And give us hope, to make the coldest of souls feel the pain they once buried so long ago. You can relate to everything in this world, if you have loved, loved so fiercely you were never the same again. All i can say is thank you, Eric. Your words mean so much to me. It tells story, the good and bad, of love.

Last week I just found out what my brand archetype was and it said "Sage". I thought to myself: "I've seen that word somewhere before and I realized it was from "@yourguitarsage". Erich Andreas, your truly my guitar sage. With your words of wisdom, encouragement and tremendous knowledge in guitar playing ( and life in general). I'be been watching your videos for 5 years now and they have been so helpful. I took a big step by enrolling for your guitar course on Udemy. Also, I'm grateful that you liked my post on instagram. It's been great having you as my instructor. Keep up the amazing work!!!!

You’re a natural teacher man. I started playing guitar by simply learning chords to my favorite songs. However, I came to realize that I didn’t know anything else about music; CAGED system, scales, soloing methods, etc. That’s where your videos have been crucial to me learning this beautiful instrument. Thank you for offering so many videos for the world to see to help spread our love for music. You rock!

YourGuitarSage Hey Erich Sir well the tutorial was amazing as always. And I've been loving all your tutorials from the start. I'm learning guitar because the only favorite thing that I like to do is to play the guitar and because of you I'm learning guitar more faster than I thought and by today's hack, rapidly it became more easier to play the guitar and thank you for the lesson and keep doing it because of you I'm learning the guitar. And I think you are the only person I who can teach me how to play a guitar, well the reason is that for me it's pretty hard to play the chords but because of your hacks now I can play the chords more fluently. So thank you Sir for all of your lesson and the tutorial that you are giving everyday and hopefully because of you in future one day I become a musician me a singer like you because you have a beautiful voice sir. Thanks for your efforts sir. Thank You Jay-U

Imagine a world where the slick sounds of vibrating strings are absent from nursery rhymes. My friend, that is a world I live in right now. I am a nursery school teacher in the UK and one of main responsibilities is singing songs and busting out sweet jams. However, I am strumming thin air and my songs sound more like The Bland old Duke of York. If you can bring some extra music into our school it will be greatly appreciated.
