@@CJKush420 it's cross platform you just need to have a working mic but even if you don't people are willing to help also don't fall for anyone trying to sell the M13B

Key point for solo play if you go down and are bleeding out but not dead while inside the helicopter as long as you don't fully bleed out you will successfully exfil and keep everything you had and scavenged. Had a mad dash through bots that winged me as I got into the copter and was happily surprised by this.

Wrong! You loose everything, if you not on helicopter you exfil but loose all guns

DMZ reminds me a lot of the Dark Zone from The Division, and I am loving it! Thank you for the guide, really gonna help me out in my future matches.

The prisoner rescue contract is an oppurtunity to exfil, and by holding the ping button (on console) you can invite others to your squad and form a 6-man. Didnt see these mentioned and hope this helps!

Just a stellar video here mate! I'm amazed by the quality and entertainment of the breakdown. Very good. I'm sharing this to all my friends that have a hard time understanding DMZ too. :)

Subscribed. Solid basic tutorial. I love this mode and have played nothing else since launch. I even play solo by keeping my goals simple and achievable. I don't always exfil, but I don't take my insured weapon with me, so nothing is really lost. When I'm with a group I'll use the insured weapon asap because I know I'll get it back before the session ends (pretty sure the cool down period is 120 minutes but I think you can reduce that time). Keep up the good work, looking forward to some advanced strategy tips.

Its been reduced to 60 min (1 hour now) and yes, you reduce that time by exiling with items.

If you lose your insured weapon just drop in do a few missions and exfil. It takes like 33 minutes off the cooldown and you can get your gun back in way less than two hours.

i just play fill and have played like 20 matches and only died once🤷‍♂️ idk if i’m just playing very passive or it’s my experience with escape from tarkov kicking in but i’m having lots of fun

If you run out of weapons all together, and don't want to enter empty handed, you can toggle on a set of two random weapons in the load out menu

I played duo with my bro in law. Random dropped out, and a duo with another random. Wiped a few squads that were aggressive towards us. I think duo is the sweet spot if you only have 1 friend. If 2, better yet.

Great video. I had a weird bug or something where I successfully exfil’d but my insured weapon was moved to my contraband slot and I couldn’t use my insured slot for 2 hours. I think it happened because I switched to a contraband weapon and switched it back to my insured weapon in game. For some reason it recognized it as a contraband weapon when I went back to the weapons tab

Good stuff! Just getting started in DMZ with my squad. We're all really getting into it so far.

I have a clip of my friends and me getting into a firefight at an exfil, calling a cease fire and extracting with the enemy team. It was a pretty tense helo ride lol

Wait, I’m sorry but what’s the point of contraband weapons if you can just have a better weapon of your choice? Should I be scraping them to get materials or what??

I have made it a point to only play dmz solo for the fun of it. When it comes to playing that way it may seem extremely difficult, but you need to just change up your playstyle. When with multiple people in a squad the ai is forgiving because they have 3 targets to shoot at where as in solo they all hunt you down. You just gotta play slow, camp your corners and only take them on one at a time. Also it is a good idea to do some problem solving to come up with ways to cheese the ai. I was even able to get a weapon case extracted solo (it did take a few tries). The key is just being as safe and efficient as possible.

p.s. To extract a weapons case solo its alot of rng, but possible. You need to get lucky with case location spawn and exfile location spawns. I got mine by getting the one in the hydro electric by speedrunning to it and running over the juggernaut asap and getting the heck out of dodge in the exfile that was close by. edit: you can also easily get cases by simply camping the nearest exfil point to the weapon case spawn. I got a second one by jumping on the helicopter with a shotgun when they tried to exfil.

@@yaago ya know I would feel bad if it wasn't for that fact that full 3 man squads do it to me nonstop. If a full team had a weapon case and isn't aware enough to kill a solo player using a shotty than that's on them.

I play with friends or solo never with randoms. When I tried randoms it was one of the most frustrating experiences. Friends is fun and the cooperation is great while solo is tense and challenging.

it might be great mix of BR and Plunder ,, but I don't want it to replace Plunder .. because there's no Spawn in mode currently in Warzone 2

Ive been loving DMZ and ive been playing just me and my boy no fill ( DO NOT USE SQUAD FILL, they will just steal all the good loot and leave you behind) and we have won almost every fight. armored bots need a hard nerf though. my biggest issue is with keys( where half of them go and a 3 use key gets used in 2) and the big ass safes in strongholds that you cant loot for some reason. also they should make it to where you can store extra backpacks and armor vests or at the very leasts allow you to sell them because it does allow you to stow extras but that has 0 use

Solo is harder in some ways but easy in others. I tried a few games with randoms who kept triggering the ai. I’m on tier 3 missions now all done on solo.

Tip for a stronghold. Sometimes the enemy's inside of it will open the door for you and try to attack you so instead of wasting your money on a key make them open it for you

This only happens if the stronghold has already been opened before, otherwise bots won't open the doors

DMZ is fun I only played it because if you extract with a weapon you haven’t unlocked you can unlock it in multiplayer

I thoroughly enjoyed tarkov b4 my 'puter crapped out. ... This is the only reason im playing wz and am pretty happy with the dmz mode.

Might wanna mention the fact that once you get down to 5 minutes before radiation starts the exfils no longer work. I just had the craziest game with my buddies and we had to literally boat across the whole map reviving each other to get to final exfil.

Must be glitched for you. After many many games…… if you call the exfil and the help is visible before gas gets there, it works. If helo is not visible after calling and gas arrives, then you got hit an alternate. The last helo waits for like 70 seconds.

It most definitely was glitched. Alot of people left not realizing there was a final exfil. We were just stuck in radiation the whole time lol

Dont be afraid to use the “free weapons” option if you need to. Its unlimited uses as long as you dont have a weapon slot off cooldown.

New signal 50 weapon skin looks like it close but I’m not sure would be cool if you did the same thing that he did in Cold War.

Just having a lot of badluck with DMZ. The misions are not working and bugged out. Not getting rewards for the weapon crate exfil unless it is only for the person who has it. 999 ping 72% packed loss etc etc I hope that they make some improvements fast.

I see some people here complaining about playing solo. Out of the maybe 10-15 successful exfils I've had, I've only had one bad experience where I had a weapons cache and as soon as I hopped on the exfil helicopter, i got gunned down by a squad. I actually enjoy it a lot though!

When I’m in DMZ can I take out all loot that’s in my backpack into the lobby? My backpacks and vest that were stowed all left only thing that stayed was maybe my gas mask and my weapons

Can the keys and cards that u exfil with be used to open locked doors in warzone? Or do they not carry over?

FYI The 30k keycards when you use them or get near the location that your going to use it (literally as soon as you get next to the door and unlock it) all hell will break loose with the bots before you even open the door. I got murdered by 50 bots and they just kept coming and coming before i even got inside.

Great video this actually helps a lot as I was waiting to play DMZ. I was kind of worried about losing my blueprints but you clarified that up for me 😊

They should let's us do finishing moves on the Ai, also I wish that the change how you use the cash you extract with, they need to give us a buy station option in the loadout menu before you deploy at the very least

Another pro tip here…. First hand knowledge. I unlocked the m13 by my buddy dropping me his, and I exfil with it, and it unlocked. If someone in your group has the m13, bring it it. Drop it for your buddy and let them exfil with it will unlock it for you. and that saves you from having to fight the chemist and from getting 3rd partied. It works.
