Thank you for the demonstration. I have learned to play songs, but without understanding the scales as you have shown. After taking music theory I see where learning the scales is very important. And interesting as well. Keep up the good work!

Great demo; In your opinion, which system is easier, the C system or the B system to learn. Thank You

On a serious note, I'm a very accomplished Melodian player, but I've always been confined to the keys of C and G. I have always wanted to give this instrument and really good squeezing. Is there any literature you would recommend??

Quick question: so, if I am going to play a melody in the scale of C and if that melody is played note by note, that is the fingering I should use? Thanks for the lesson!

See, I have just started to learn and I am doing the lessons Tony offers for the piano accordion but I got my hands on a chromatic, button accordion too and I am learning both at the same time, and I am learning the melodies Tony is teaching in his lessons on the piano accordion first, and then on the chromatic, button accordion. I am also learning music notation; the used piano accordion I bought first came with a booklet, a method for beginners which teaches both music notation and how to play the 41/120 piano accordion! Thanks for the lesson on major scales for the C-System chromatic button accordion, that's going to be of great help once I learn them!

@@MrFlames01 Don't overwhelm yourself. The button accordion is tricky to figure out its proper fingering. Have someone helping you with that.

If you are starting, forget about the system. Grab whichever accordion is more technically convenient for you to play.

where do you live? It's basicly impossible to get a b system where I live so I got a c system. Also check for teachers in your city and get whatever is around. There isnt a great deal of difference. There are even some top serbian and russian players who use a c system (Dr Zoran Rakic)

@@rowansumner9088 What is this c or b that people talk about? Never heard before. Those people user letters instead of the do re mi?

Interestingly some of slavs who play a B system use do re mi. I guess they call it ri system?. This woman is playing a c system, if you look on the left side row of the button board, the bottom white button of the two is c. On b the bottom white button on left side is b. Its the same thing flipped over. People argue which is better but it seems to me any limitation of the key order can be overcome with practice and repition.
