RULES:
The rules are the same as regular chess except for these changes. The object of the game is to be the first player to checkmate your opponent’s Superking. Replace each Queen with an Amazon and each King with a Superking. Amazons have the combined movement of a queen and knight. Superkings have the combined movement of a king and knight. Superkings are allowed to castle. Superkings have all the same rules and as a regular king regarding check and checkmate, except with this additional rule: you are allowed to move your Superking to attack your opponent’s Superking so long as your Superking is protected by a friendly piece.
When a white pawn is on the 4th to 8th row, or a black pawn is on the 1st to 5th row; then those pawns have the ability to move backwards 1 square. But they may not capture backwards. When a pawn reaches its farthest row, it may only promote a piece your opponent has already captured, including an Amazon. You do not need to promote a pawn on the farthest row if you don’t want to or can’t. In such a case, you can promote it on either player’s future turn when a piece is available and you choose to. Doing so does not count as your move.
The first player to checkmate their opponent’s Superking wins.

So basically, 1. queens and kings gain knight movement 2. protected kings can attack the enemy king 3. pawns that are at least two squares from their starting position can move backwards 4. pawns optionally promote to captured pieces 5. pawns on the 8th row promote without losing a turn

i dont really like how a "protected king" can attack. the opponent could capture it and win first, this makes more sense

@@Player-df7ny Think about it this way, Chess is effectively a war-game, representing a Medieval war, correct? In that context, a piece being protected by another piece is a bodyguard (or spy, politician, farmer, etc.); if you attack someone with a bodyguard, you're walking into a fight against two people, meaning that even if you do get your way, you're probably going down with them.

@@deadersurvival4716 makes sense like that, but at this point the normal chess game is flawed since it doesnt follow this rule. the objective should be capture all pieces to prevent having the king captured

@@Player-df7ny Not necessarily. You don't need to massacre another kingdom to take them over or to cease an insurrection. Just take out the driving force, and that's generally the leadership.
Super Kings is also the name of Dallas/Fort Worth's Major League Cricket team.
No En passant mention this one is sad, but if it's not mentioned it's allowed therefore this one is happy Also little question can a pawn capture diagonal backwards?

Not sure how you measure originality, this isn't the only one which combines Knight moves with other pieces
Leaving a pawn on the promotion zone makes a sudden attack possible.

I think that would be allowed the rule states a king may check the other super king if the attacking king is protected it says nothing the defending one
