I have 1 tank, 1 anti large mortar and 2 hellstorms, what am I doing wrong ? I have found myself in situations where everyone but Gelt and a tank were wiped out. I had to micro them so hard to win against a few groups of infantry, a lord and a hero

Imagine being a centuries-old Vampire Lord, master of the Dark Arts, dedicating your black necromantic magics to resurrecting powerful Wights, who are not only master swordsmen but also intelligent enough to think on their own, only to watch them get bisected by the hundreds from a few errant cannon shots from a Napoleon-era cannon manned by Ernst, who pushed the damn thing all the way from Nuln to Essen.

Seriously one of the best things about WHFB that AoS lacks. The humans are just normal everyday grunts, but even Chosen Knights of Nurgle explode when you shoot them in the face with a 50 caliber ball of lead. The Gods tried to enslave mankind, but then Dwarves had to go and invent gunpowder lmao

Sure, you could train someone from when they're 5 years old, give them the best armor, teach them the most lethal tactics using the most lethal weapons... But i can just go grab 100 illiterate peasants and give them rifles. Even of the chances of you getting hit is 1% that still means one of those damn peasants will kill you. Why waste decades on training when you can just arm the masses?

I think there is a reason Karl Franz sent Gelt to the Border of the Empire before he turned it into a smoldering crater.

There's something incredibly satisfying in watching the relentless barrage of artillery pulverize the opposition.

This! This is why I play Empire and it is why Empire is one of my favorite factions to play as. However, you need more guns in your armies. Guns of the Empire is an awesome mod that adds more gun units. Nothing better than having artillery missiles fly over head towards an approaching enemy army while they are being shot at with hundreds of bullets. Brings a manly tear out of my eye due to how beautiful it is. Many of the gun units are also decent infantry units as well if the enemy even gets that close.

Man, Helstorm Rockets are so satisfying to watch!

It makes a whole lot of sense of when you realize VC stands for Vampire Counts.
