I'm surprised how easy this playing a "dead" card game malarkey is, do you still wish you were playing Netrunner in 2022?

I can’t seem to find the discord! A friend brought over a couple decks and I played with him and I’m afraid I’m hooked. Does anyone have the discord link?

Great video! If I were a new player, this would be the kind of information I was looking for. As a veteran player, I still learned a couple of things from this. Keep up the great work!

Thanks very much, I think thats the ethos of most of my videos, mostly leaning towards the casual accessible end of gaming with hopefully a nod to the more hardcore/veterans.

I found a 2014 coreset on ebay for 39 dollars and bought it, I love the game and the people I have shown really dig it. I am going to dig into NISEI eventually

Brilliant, you can't beat an original core set and the game is special enough to stand the test of time I imagine, especially when it has such an excellent fan backing.

I got the core box and a lot of random data packs around 3 years ago for like $20 on a clearance sale in my FLGS on a whim. I started collecting as much as I could since then as I loved the game. I am only missing Creation and Control, Reign and Reverie and the Kitara cycle, but I have every other main expansion and cycle and even a few draft packs and Champoinship decks. I am fairly content given the game had already been discontinued and I paid less than MSRP for every single thing (which is also why I do not think it’s worth to be paying so much for the stuff I am missing). I think I was fairly lucky and with Nisei I feel the game will keep on giving hours of fun and strategy.

Yeah that was a great time to get in to it, normally I'm ahead of the curve with these things but it would be lovely to have a full collection. It is an exceptionall well rounded game that deserves to still be played and I think you're right having a committed continuing committee like NISEI ringing the bell of ANR even after its demise can only be a good thing for the game.

Are you aware of ProxyNexus? You can proxy whatever cards you need (albeit with the Null Signal Games backing) for about MSRP of a normal card pack

Thank you very much. I was actually really sad to discover this game, wanting to so badly to play it only to learn it wasn't sold anymore... I'll try the online way with a friend to be sure, and then one of the physical way of I do really enjoy it Really glad I get to enjoy this

Oh i didnt know that. I have dozens upon dozens of original expansions never played. I was collecting them for thr art and playing with the original core set like a board game with friends from time to time. I remember the last expansion I bought had like a little girl with a dinosaur or teddy bear stuffed animal 😂. I wasnt buying them in n order though. I would just go in to a gaming store and buy expansion packs. They're all stored and I know where they are I'll see about getting them out to gamers

Yeah I think the pandemic did some really good work for some dead card games out there and with continued support underpinning what is ultimately a really great and different dueling card game then I can only see them retaining their value. The teddy bear stuffed animal's a keeper though 😀

It's not a hard truth this but... Netrunner might be the best streamlined card game to enter and start playing

Netrunner kicks ass! Still spur about hiw the final release rolled out (my pre-order was canceled) but I had those cards printed by a third party company. Yay!) Luckily I own the entire set.
