How to play Aerith like a BOSS (Hard Mode/No Healing) | Final Fantasy VII Remake

Final Fantasy 7 Remake combat gameplay featuring Aerith. All story bosses she is directly involved with (except for Sephi as it is not possible due to Cloud's involvement) solo'd on hard mode with no healing. Some gotterdammerung abuse for max fun factor with the aim that it will be entertaining to watch! Jenova is by far the most challenging for Aerith, resistant to magic and plenty of ways to stall or negate her damage and counterattacks which easily catch her while she's animation locked. But it's easily the most fun!
A word on GHOUL: I decided not to include my recording of the Ghoul solo, as in a word, it's boring. Ghoul nullifies Aerith completely, so the fight is simply waiting for Incorporeality for an opportunity to attack. When this happens, ANY magical damage instantly puts Ghoul back into physical form and is once again impervious to damage. She can't quite do enough damage in one spell or ability to push the phase through and his pressured state can't be maintained, You're then back to waiting for Incorporeality and dodging projectiles again for the next few minutes while he's invulnerable. Rinse and repeat. I nearly fell asleep doing it, so I didn't feel it would be engaging for you guys to watch.
What you see are my first successful kills of each boss, done within a few attempts (some first time) and therefore are not refined in any way afterward. I always see that certain things can be improved afterwards but I don't have the time to throw at repetitive attempts.

Maybe, maybe not. As to considers that the heroes defeated the whispers, Aerith isn't tied to her destined death anymore. Yet, she could simply dies in other way and in other time, like an ultimate sacrifice, than be killed by Sephiroth. Or maybe to considers this outcome, if Aerith won't dies, perhaps other character will perishes in her place, like Tifa, as a twist plot to the new timeline. And even the fact that Tifa dies, could serves as demostration that the story will takes a different route, bringing new outcomes, and new consequences.

I know! Had a few convenient save files to access for relevent bosses which was super lucky! Saved lots of time. Barret will be a different story though, got a lot on in the coming weeks so it will definitely take a long time. Bit by bit! 😁

seeing this makes me wonder how jenova manage to kill the entire population of the cetra, she probably has found a reflec ring.
I really love the arsenal fight , it was always really underrated in my opinion

Absolutely! The OST is also fantastic. Most prefer the Airbuster version but this one wins for me every time 🔥
The great thing about aerith you can beat the boss cutely
Perhaps Cloud has cool techniques, Barret is good to ranged attack, and Tifa is the fastest among them. But Aerith has most of the potential and raw power, adding a notable versatility with her skills, making her the most powerful character in several aspects.

The solo hell house was great to see after i did 7 tries on my first hard mode playthrough.
Aerith is the most enjoyable playable character in this game, she can do so much more then other characters 🔥

Hope they can give her more edit in part 2 Nuh?... Like hello a magic, there's a lot of magic spell and cast if they were put so much effort in her character tho ; she also summomed her spirit magic that Red fire beast idk it called .... Compare to combat, sword, gun or what; in reality they can't win over magic/ spell/summoned spirit.... If they put effort to aerith character skills aerith can also fly like seph hope in part 2 we will see how AERITH powerful powers will show more....

I didn’t like playing her my first playthrough. But LOVED playing her the 2nd time around when i knew what i was doing.
Woah I’m playing through this game casually on normal mode, so gameplay like this is sooo crazy to me! 😵💫 I always go into the menu when using any abilities, but I think I’m going to at least set up a few shortcuts, because the gameplay looks so flashy like this! Refocus is broken but also incredibly cool!! 😂 I’m up to ch.16 and I somehow haven’t died yet, but wow I remember the hellhouse fight took me agesss to get through. It’s amazing how quickly Aerith cleaned up in that fight here!! :O I’ve heard the difficulty really ramps up in hard mode, so I’m excited to learn how the combat system works in-depth because there is just SO many options. I ❤️ this game’s combat! :D

Hard mode being so stingy with MP makes a lot more sense when you realize how broken magic is. Still not a fan of benches not restoring MP, though.

With videos like this one the builds vary from boss to boss so can't really list it, but as usual it's the same key materia you generally need with a few that are changeable depending on the fight. I always try to remember to post them on the solo videos though 😁👍
actually someone did an all frog victory against sephiroth but it's too boring to watch

Exactly, I've seen it also. I love the dedication and patience for those kind of things but it just doesn't appeal to me at all. To each there own and whatnot!
