So in our family we have a rule that gives the knocker and advanrage if someone else on the board have the same amount of points than the nocker, as long as the nocker has the higest score. It become a date to nock and you are rewarded for it

what are those indexless cards you have framed in the back? they look neat, very western style and cool, and i was wondering if i could find them anywhere.

I use to play with my Army buddies and if the knocker didn’t actually have the highest hand they lost a strike not the person with the lowest hand. Because it’s ballsy to knock and end the round and if you don’t have the highest hand you should pay for it lol.

Bro, out of the last 2 players, one player knocks (he has exactly 31). Now, the next player gets last chance. If he also got 31, then who wins? In other words, if both got same score, who wins?

Excuse the lengthy answer, just want to be thorough. Great question! It relates to the one rule/scenario @Triple S Games didn't cover and from what I was taught and my online research, it's a standard rule, not a variation. No loss of respect for this channel though. The rule is, a player that gets to 31 by drawing and discarding cards must declare it. The declaration effectively stops the round right then and there, and ALL other players lose a life including someone that may have knocked prior to the declaration. In your question, the person that has 31 would declare, not knock, and would win the entire game (assuming the other player had only 1 life left at the start of the round). This rule gives that much more credence to the name of the game. If a player(s) has 31 from the initial deal itself, do the same thing - declare, thus ending the round and everyone else loses a life. In your question, if both players are dealt 31, both players declare and simply re-deal. Hope this helps.

I remember somehow getting 31 (red diamonds) on my initial hand. It was hilarious.

At 1:17 you say that only the cards of the same suit are added together. Ace and Eight of spades = 19. What happens if they were different suits? Eg. Ace -diamonds, 8-spades, Jack-hearts? What would the score of this hand be?

We usually say the knocking player looses ties as well :)

31 is the point cap(A+F or 10+ For 10= 31). At my family Christmas if you had 31 and knocked you revealed it and that last round if your hand didn't add up to 15 or more you lost a point along with the loser of the hand. The easy way to 'track life' was quarters and basically player it like poker winner got more quarters and there for more life.

31 is highest value your can achieve in the game if u have it, u can reveal that u have 31 and all other players lose... Think like it is winning condition

We’ve played that when any player gets 31 (whether they were dealt it, or drew it, or picked up from discard pile), they immediately lay it down and everyone else pays $1 to the kitty (everyone starts off $3.00). Even if you run out of $3, you’re now on ‘welfare’ but still in the game. I’ve seen people on welfare, still win the money.

"Pip value" means the number of a card.for example, pip value of a 7 of spades is 7.

You can’t. Once you discard to 3 cards the most you could have is 31.
