    Liberty Bellows Thank you so much for uploading these lessons and each lesson is taught in a very simple and understandable way. I searched so many lessons online but these accordion lesson series are the best online course I found. I am still a beginner at playing the accordion. Coordination is hard but I am sure by practising continuously and following your lesson series I can get rid of that.

    Looks simple but since I’m just starting to play the accordion, it’s a challenge to me to coordinate the right and left hands. I’ll keep practicing until I get it right. I think what’s key is to pay attention to where the notes fall in reference to the bass notes. Thanks for the lesson!

    Hi, Tony! The advice to divide the phrases before playing and identify the point to invert the bellow movement was very useful to me. Thanks! This song looks easy but the hand shift to finish the first phrase and start the second phrase is not trivial... :-) Best regargs from Brazil

    I found a somewhat beat up accordion in a box next to some trash bins when I went on a walk three weeks ago. Today I decided to put some good use to it and found this video. Damn, is it going to be a challenge learning to play key and bass combined, but I love a good brain workout. Thanks for the videos!

    My problem is moving the bellows evenly, I was lent a 12 bass tonight. I can play most stuff in C...as I dabble in piano. Do you have a chart showing the bass notes on the bass section?. But trying to move the bellows and play the bass at the same time, will keep me busy. Any suggestions how to keep it all even?

    I was thinking about getting an accordion with 27 keys and 48 bass buttons. I would like to be able to play at least a few of my favourite pieces of music, from German folk, to classical, even to some movie soundtrack songs, like from Lord of the Rings, etc. The site says it has 26 keys, range B-C, 2 voices, 3 registers. Does that mean I couldn't play something involving D keys so well, like Pachelbel's Canon in D Minor, for example? I have never even really played piano or anything else, but have just listened to a lot of music.

    Lol I don't think I can play the accordian or piano. I can't multitask at the same time. If I try to play with both hands, it doesn't work. My left hand won't keep a beat while I try to play the other.

  • @novantha1

    @novantha1

    5 жыл бұрын

    Most people aren't born able to multitask. It's not even really a matter of skill so much as it is familiarity. You basically have to play a left hand pattern so much that it becomes second nature, and then slowly add one or two notes in your right hand. It also helps to play it slowly and get used to it. Feel free to repeat phrases a lot until you get used to them.
