hello, You don't have to dip these flowers. If you just use a brush and brush on the mixture to the flower you won't loose any detai. Dipping causes a buildup of plaster and you lose the real look of the flower.

Oh, Lisa....I LOVE how that framed pumpkin piece turned out, and I'm not really fond of the 3-D art pix, but this one I really do like. And I'm pleasantly surprised at how that background adds to the overall look, too. But the minute you added those twisty twigs to the bottom just gave this whole thing an exclamation mark! You can spray paint them also with light layers of chalk or metallic paint. I use the stem to be able to move them around kinda shaking (if you will) to get in between the petals. I’m not sure if I explained that well but maybe you can understand what I mean. Thanks for all you do. Everything is always amazing!

Wow sooooooo pretty! Great idea. Thank you for sharing this technic. Love all the finished items! I totally forgot about this technic so thank you for reintroducing this technic. There is a product called Stiffin Stuff and it makes the ribbon or flowers or fabric look like bisque. It dries white and can be painted. Love all your home decor pieces. Be well, stay safe.
