You can pay on the buses now 😊 they have installed tap and go systems that automatically give you the best rate for the day based on how many trips you take.

Great tips. I subscribed. I believe there is also a tax you have to pay in cash when you check into your hotel/ABnB/VRBO. True? I'm traveling with family in early June and also wanted to ask how much per person, daily, you spent on food.

So glad you liked it! You're going to have an AMAZING time in Rome, it's a beautiful city, and the history is EVERYWHERE! One thing we really enjoyed while there was popping in an earbud and walking along with the free Rick Steves audio tour of the city (from his app) . It really helped us get our bearings and appreciate many of the little details we might have otherwise missed!

Just ordered the mini fan and charger. Thanks. Never knew about the free water or that from the ancient aqueducts! Cool. How do you travel with shampoo bar? Do you keep it in a plastic soap box once you’ve used? Never even heard of a shampoo bar

We hope you like them like us! We have tiny little wet bags for the soap bars. We're always looking to make incremental improvements to our setup, but it worked well for us! :)

Hi! We used Google Fi for our cell phones (which allowed for easy international coverage without adding an international data plan)!

The best museum in Rome is MUSEO NAZIONALE ROMANO.
