Years ago, when major news websites published articles claiming that one can enjoy Paris for less than P60,000, I took it with a grain of salt. I didn’t believe it at first. But when it was my turn to travel to Paris, I was surprised that I was able to do it myself. TWICE. So Yep, it is entirely possible to have your dream Paris trip even on a limited budget! In this video, we’ll tell you how we were able to pull it off.

This video was shot before the COVID-19 pandemic. Now may not be a good time to travel but it's always a great time to plan a trip! But note that costs, hours and availability might have changed due to the pandemic, so contact the respective establishment directly for more updated info.

Hi po! Thank you for this awesome vlog! May I just ask your opinion po: barring any travel restrictions and other covid-19-related issues, which is better to get first, a US Visa or Schengen Visa? I am planning to travel to either NY or Paris when it's okay to travel again or the rules relaxed a bit. I am kind of leaning with the US trip because I believe they would be more open to tourists sooner than European countries. Thank you in advance! More blessings to come!! :)
An easy number to memorize : 105.4. It's the surface area of Paris in square kilometers. That's why there is "only" two million inhabitants in Paris intra muros, but around twelve million in the Paris region. Arles, with 758 square kilometers, has a way bigger surface area even if it only has 52,000 inhabitants. And Marseille is 2.4 bigger than Paris. 5:25 the transport zones are : 1 for inner Paris, 2,3 and 4 for "proche banlieue parisienne" (high population density zones), and 5 for almost the rest of the whole Île-de-France region.
OMG! Super detailed vlog ito. Thanks for sharing nito. :)

Hi there! I am travelling to Paris next week and I'm a bit confusd on which place to book. I am travelling alone for a week and considering a hostel. Is this okay for a first time traveller to Paris? another concern is, is it practical to stay near the center? like 7th arr 13th 15th arr? is it worht the more expensive accomodations?

Hi John, we love staying at hostels. But it really depends on your travel style and budget. If you have a bigger budget, sure, staying at a centrally located property is convenient. But we've experienced staying in 8th (close to central), 13th (Place de Italie, a bit outside the central area) and 11th. But our key takeaway from our experience was, as long as we were near a Metro station, we'd be okay. The thing is, most key attractions are far apart and spread out, so even at the time we stayed near certain attractions, we still had to take the train to reach other key tourist spots.

Yung huling Paris flight namin ay Qatar Air. Sila ang pinakamura naming nakita that time, and usually makakakita ka ng murang Qatar Air flight basta way in advance ka magbook. :)
Thanks to the author of the channel for this fascinating video! It is interesting to see how people live in other countries! It is very important to know foreign languages on such trips. I would like to recommend to all travelers a practical guide to learning foreign languages by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages". This book contains a lot of useful tips on how to learn a foreign language for tourists, students, entrepreneurs and anyone who needs a foreign language in life. There are a lot of good tips on how to solve problems with the language from beginner to advanced level of language learning. It turns out that the traveler only needs to know a few dialogues and you can easily travel around the world! You don't have to spend a lot of time to fully learn a foreign language, you just need to learn what you can use when you travel. I wish everyone exciting travels!
Kuya anu pong hostel kau ng check in
Budget advice for Paris : Drink wine, not water (Your pocket will thank you) . Oh, and don't snap pics of the Eifel at night, that's a steep fine
Hi sir. Grabe still searching for hotels even aparment ,syempre affordable lang. Pero pansin ko hotels mostly walang bidet sir...hahah I cant..
What is name of your acommodation? Thanks po
For Manila - Amsterdam - Paris flight, is there a need to collect the checked-in luggages upon arriving in Amsterdam?
@thepoortraveler
Жыл бұрын
Hi! That depends on the airline/s you booked for both flights. In my case po, when I first visited Paris, I flew with KLM (Manila-Amsterdam) and Air France yata (Amsterdam-Paris). But these 2 airlines belong to the same company and they have an arrangement, so if I remember correctly, I didn't have to pick up my luggage in Amsterdam. I got them when I was already in Paris. It really depends on the airline/s you booked.
San oo kayo nagstay? Pwede po makuha yung link. Thank you po
Friend anu name ng hotel u checked in
