Once tucked in properly, cotton sarees are very easy to handle as it is not at all slippery. On the other hand for first timers, do not go for satin sarees as they are difficult to handle and are very slippery. This is from a 17 year old who loves to wear sarees and has worn multiple types of it.

I weared sneakers on my farewell ...i was the only one with his combo ...my father told me to wear that due to feet comfort...i thought that would might look bad ...but it was not ....to my suprise some girls fell and were not able to walk properly...but i was ...it was so fun experience 😂❤

Hey, nope, it won’t look overdressed even if it’s in the daytime. A farewell as an occasion as memorable as that overweighs in importance from the location and time. So just slay in confidence!!!! // for earrings, since the saree would be bling enough, you can go for smaller danglers or chaandbalis or statement studs :)

Actually, my farewell is on 16th of feb. I did wore saree before on teachers day but I say this myself, I looked really bad in that, It was a cotton like fabric(Synthetic) , Since I am really skinny, It kind of didnt suit me...I dont know what type of saree would suit me, I am like really skinny , Saree dont look good on me and if I had other option, I could have wore something else, But saree is the dress cods and I dont wanna miss this chance.. can someone put links to some saree in the replies?

Why don't you wear chiffon or cotton sarees like a coarse fiber that doesn't stick to the body much. Also wear a sleeveless blouse to flaunt your collar bone and pair with long earrings and bangles only👍🏻
