This feature is really helpful for retail investor. Thanks for bringing this. I have below question if you can answer. (1) How frequently you review and change the ranking for various schemes? (2) Is rank totaly driven by formula or you have some manual intervention in deciding rank? (3) What kind of movement in ranks we can expect? Is it possible a scheme which is today in top 5 goes to bottom 5 in next review or in couple of review?

Good questions, specially point no. 2. Regarding this I had doubt also and that's why I personally checked the data collected from various apps/websites for the funds ranked by ET Money app and found that the ranking is almost similar to the one prepared by me.

I love these videos and I use ET Money for all my mutual fund investments. I do would like to point out is that the ranks can be outdated at times. For instance, the Axis Treasury Advantage Fund was ranked very low around 12 to 16 last few months which always bothered me since it had a very good performance and downside protection numbers. Today is it ranked number 1 in the Low Duration Category. Such a large jump in such a short span of time concerns me with the methodology used.

This is not a video for the people who look at the funds based on returns only (normally the new entrants). I was also of same type sometime back. But when took a deep dive, I realised that there are many parameters based on which one should choose a fund. But with more options comes more confusion. This video clears all that confusion. Wonderful video!!! Keep up the good work.

Long needed video. Thanks for it. I have invested seeing the rankings in almost all cases with few exceptions and picked top ranked funds. When do you recommend to re-check the rankings and how frequently should I modify my SIP/change my fund if there is change in rankings?

Like (better to say love) to watch all your videos. The way you present such a complex topic of investment is far better than anyone other on youtube. Keep up the good work and hope to learn more and more from you sir.

Great content 😁 I actually used the ratings from etmoney app to invest in a couple MFs recently. The question is how often are these ranks revised? If it changes say 4 times a year, I will have to continuously keep an eye and take necessary actions? Is there any threshold (reduced rank number/ time it spends in a reduced rank) you suggest after which redemptions must be made?

As usual, this video gives a good learning opportunity. Though this one was more of an App thing. But you already have taught so many things in previous videos. One question: you always suggest to go via SIP for rupee cost averaging, and that makes sense. What if someone's FD/LIC are maturing shortly that will be a big chunk? Should that go as well via SIPs by keeping in bank/liquid fund? considering the top rated fund on ET money app, could that be one-time or half one-time and half via SIPs? Sorry for such post, but I still think SIP will be better but where to park the rest?

Another brilliant video. Nowadays stopped watching all those MF videos from not so expert channels. This is very clear and simple. One question, on ETMoney app there is ETMoney ranking and Value Research ranking, which is not necessarily the same. What is the difference please

One area where I think everyone needs a clarity is How to tag a portfolio to goals or a single Fund is enough for a goal, or we need separate folios for each goals. If we can get a clarity in your upcoming videos that would be great. As you have raised the bar, we expect this complex thing to be addressed by you and we can follow it. Also, I have invested now via ETMoney app and its a best experience among all MF apps.

Thanks for sharing One more outstanding Video...I always had confusion on selecting MFs, but I got through ETmoney Funds selection category and is really helpful to chose right one... Just one question, is there any cycle (yearly or half-yearly) where you rank the funds?

Nice advice for Mutual fund's investment.

Hi ET Money team. All your videos are fabulous. Every video is insightful and helps to mature my investment thinking. I have a query in mutual fund. Between Zerodha and the mutual fund house websites, which is a good place to set it up? While Zerodha makes it easier, I'm not sure if I will be missing anything facilities that the mutual fund house provides.

excellent, informative video as always! how relevant is the PE ratio of an equity fund? I notice that some of Axis funds such as Bluechip, Midcap etc. are top performers but hv very high PE ratios of around 40 or even more. Should that be a concern wrt their future performances? thanks!

@@ETMONEY 1 quick follow up Q if i may..if fund A is similar to B in all the ratios/metrics u mentioned but has a lower PE ratio then is it correct to chose A over B or this might be just the lower PE components of the fund that's driving down the overall PE. specifically talking about Canara Robeco bluehip vs Axis Bluechip (which I hold)..thanks!

Found some incorrect information on the website. First - Funds age is shown as 8yrs 6 months for Axis, Kotak and HDFC Mid Cap Funds. Second - Standard Deviation is not also incorrect for above funds. So, one question arises from the above observation - How frequently does your team update various data considering the frequent changes in each parameter each month. Doubt - I have observed that each AMC has different way of calculating and stating various risk ratios. For eg - Few show Standard Deviation for 3 yrs and even for 1 yr. Few AMC don't even bother to show important ratios in their Factsheets. This, is making very tough for me to even compare them.

Sir you are amazing. I wanted to ask you something sir. I have started 2 MF of Rs. 2000 for My retirement corpus. So that will be invested for 38 Years and wen i Turn 60, I will start withdrawing lumpsum every year, Wen the market is high (So that less Units are gone and more returns are generated). How is this plan sir??
