I just installed one of these camera, I wished I saw your KZread video before installing it. I used wrong lens for the location, now I have to replace the camera with 8-32mm lens.Great video

I have the Hikvision Series 7600 NVR and was told it would work/compatible with the DS-2CD726G0/P-IZS but for the life of me I could never figure out how to make it work, and there is no instruction anywhere that would help. Simply put the 7600 NVR's menu under the VCA has no 'Vehicle Recognition' listed. Also a word of "Caution" to anyone purchasing this Hikvision NVR, check first with tech support before doing any upgrade to your NVR, reason being when I did download and upgraded to the latest version it turn out horrible and more of a down grade, it also did not have 'Vehicle Recognition' under VCA. Long story short, I called Tech Support here in the USA and was told I was not suppose to upgrade and that it has to be done in steps and I would need to have trained alarm company rep to put back the way it was. There's a lot more to this story but I'll leave it at that. As it stands now I returned LPR & NVR and got a new Series 7600 NVR. I would love to have a LPR camera but at this point if I can't figure out how to make it work properly there is no point. I understand if I don't get a respond but I really needed to get this out there in the hopes of helping others avoid this/my dilemma. Or am I missing something? Wish you guys were in the USA! I see they didn't even bother responding. That's all I need to see to know that their "customer service" sucks. No sale.

@@kmacradio To be fair they have helped me in the past. I also wrote that "I understand if I don't get a response". I've been using the system for about three months now and I think it's a vast improvement over my old system, especially the latest ColorVu camera. Would I buy again? Yes!
Would this camera work on a nvr ds-7716nxi?
