If you like this video you are very welcome to put a thumbs up & subscribe. Don't forget to hit that bell (ALL)
The feat of envisioning and creating a very complex staging set up and then finding the proper placement and intensity of the lights to obtain the desired image shows your willingness to complete a very intricate project. And then you also seek to record the effort and produce a multi scene and edited video to record the full progression of the production, all without a crew of assistants. Many thanks for sharing your numerous talents. You are an awesome instructor.

Lol exactly what I was thinking. Brilliant.
I fell down a KZread rabbit hole looking for product photography inspiration a few days ago. I found a video of you showing what I was wanting to know. At first I was thinking, "this video could be half the run time if he cut out most of his ramblings". Now this isn't a dig at you, so, all the hater's of this comment, get back down. Anyway, I proceeded to watch a few more of your videos and realised that the way you talk, take your time, explain very well is actually what makes these videos of yours very, very good. The run times are pretty much perfect. You are the Bob Ross of product photography. I think that is the highest accolade I could give anyone. keep up with the musings and ramblings. Great work.

Hey Martin, thanks for your great content! Just one question about the Hasselblad H6D-400: At the end of the video you said that you forgot to make some haze in the background, but is it possible to make a multi shot picture with haze? I think you'll get some color shift between the shots.
@botvidsson
3 жыл бұрын
No it's not possible. Can't be any movement. That's what I realised and I should have shot at 100Mpix. But it was too late and also, I wanted to test 400Mpix. I guess I said "forgot", it was the most simple answer at the time. 😁

Thank you Martin, another inspiring video! Just out of interest, how big is your studio space? Do you find any limitations?
@botvidsson
3 жыл бұрын
It's actually my office and it's 26 square meters. Many times way to small for shooting, but it works. I'm constantly looking to find a studio that is around 50-60 square meters, then I would be happy. And the ceiling should be higher then I have, at least 3 meters.
@theyetiinoz1478

Thanks so much for your reply. I’m in the process of building a house with a 6x9m garage space with 2.7m ceilings, hopefully should be a good shooting space. You have been a genuine inspiration Martin, massive thanks for the work that you put in to your content, best of luck!
Hey sir, big fan of your work! I felt that reducing the highlight from the "sun" made the highlight on the bottle brighter, It made it look a bit off or unnatural maybe, what was the thought behind that? Other than that, the shot is absolutely amazing.

beautiful hard work, in my opinion, the idea of the sun is great, but the final look is eye catching and kind of drawing the attention.. some artifical lens flare overlay would do the job if not better....
@botvidsson
3 жыл бұрын
The plan was to have smoke/mist to let the "sun" shine through in a much softer way. I have added a few flares to "save" the shot a bit. Personally I don't mind that the eye goes to the "sun" and then via leading lines (the flares) taking the viewer to the main subject. Thanks Alaa.
