How to perform big lifts with small impact with the Mammoet FOCUS30

Ғылым және технология

As populations grow, demand for energy and infrastructure increases. Large industrial facilities become more complex and crowded. Cities expand and become congested. At the same time, development work must continue. So, Mammoet created the FOCUS30.

Put the narrow tracks of the LTR11200 on there and you can retain the ability to drive it in there.

If you mean the crane that is assembling the FOCUS30, it is probably a Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1.

@@hanskoekoek8262 Yeah, except I want a 30 ton-That's all I need. The Liebherr LTM 1030-2.1 would be nice. I could use it to lift my car or something else stupid like that...

It would be interesting to hybridize the design with the SPMT'S, a bit like Liebherr's LHM 800 Mobile Harbour Crane. No idea if it's even possible though.

I think they have had enough projects where mobility wasn't greatly needed, but assembly in a tight space was. Having the ability to assemble a long boom within the crane's own footprint is a great achievement in the large crane world- hopefully we'll see this concept trickle down to smaller crawlers and mobiles with long luffing jibs, it could save so many long nights on long boom assemblies especially in urban areas.
