What's old is new again. This was done in 98 using sentence spinning technology, which wasn't great but it worked great because there was less competition. The software created doorway/content pages keyword stuffed to 5% density.

Great video, thanks. Is there any way of extracting the structure and outline of each article from the sitemap? so that GPT can create an article similar to that of the competitor? Writing an article by title alone doesn't guarantee SEO success if you don't follow a similar structure to the article you're trying to outrank on the SERP.

Great question! As far as I'm aware, there isn't unless you scrape the website. This is tough to do at scale because every website is built different, so the scraping process will always change.

Good video. My question is: what exactly is blackhat about this? I think even rewriting your competitors articles is legal, let alone just using the articles they have to generate your own article title ideas.

That's neat and all, but I think a custom tool, running locally, that has been fed all of your hand-written marketing information and told to incorporate that where possible would be faster, and more able to help you sell your product.

Your explanations are great. Well done! With regards to the SEO heist, I do believe that Jake inflated his numbers, although yes there are many ways of stealing traffic from your competitor, I highly doubt that creating 1800 posts in an hour can be high quality content that can outrank his competitors posts which have been there for a while, are high authority posts with internal linking etc.. So im sorry Jake I don't believe you....

so many of these how to get rich Quick schemes scams idea's strategies . are alot more moosh than any thing solid .. which really isn't anything new ..If you have nothing of value to sell it matters not as to your skills in sales or efficeany's at ads .or creative psychology of your ads or email's. Affiliate programs or not ...Think like a hacker is this thing a Zero day exploit or are you getting at the back end of its run?? Are you the sucker ? Aer you being old a product with no inherent value? If your in a established industry and this tools have been tailored for that industry or aspects of that induistry.. go for it .. but nothing i have seen as of late is Zero day hot like Gamestop hot or Bitcoin hot.. .. no one makes commercial divulging valuable information for free. ever!!! So innless you can justify why youjr to stupid to already be rich but genius enough to know a great business deal when you see it... Broke people never get rich quick.. Do you happen to know why this works? To my knowledge, SEO rank is given when you have backlinks and articles on OTHER sites (preferably authority sites) pointing to your site. How does posting all these articles on your own website generate that kind of SEO juice? Google obviously gives you some ranking power by having all that content on your site, but it feels like Jake Ward did something else to get those crazy big numbers, which he's not sharing in his post. Unless I'm missing something here?

Was thinking the same thing myself. People didn't have the AI tools before but they'd instead have people manually write hundreds of pages. It doesn't work that well and uses up your "link juice".

My only guess is that it's taking a PERCENTAGE of the total traffic. For example, if a competitor was getting 1000 views per month with the URL slug website.com/keto-diet, a new player with the same slug targeting the same keyword, though would rank lower, would take a small portion of that traffic (say 50 views). Add that over 2000 articles and you get something significant.

Your work here is impressive. I don't know the depth of your GPT custom bot, but I assume that one can always improve the process by making sure it is given detailed instructions on keyword placement, co-occurrence, etc. Some proper keyword research before hand may take an hour for ten or so articles (Ahrefs, custom SERP keyword scrapping scripts, etc.) with human touch to exclude competitive entries and create a cohesive, relevant well-rounded topic... Interlinking properly, at that scale, can do wonders as well, especially if one manages to prioritize URL with regards to volume of searches per topic, and competitiveness. But I see this as the death of the SEO industry. SEO was meant for making sure people land on the most useful content given their query. AI generated vague drivel takes away from that, plus it contaminates training data for future AI development. It is no wonder that people are adding "reddit" after their queries, as the platform's organic traffic continually grows. We need real content from real people, or at least expertise assisted by AI writing. This video right here is one of the reasons why I plan to abandon the industry after 11 years. It's becoming increasingly immoral to spend time in this space if one is to stay relevant and competitive. Solid work nevertheless. The old drifter in me appreciates it.

Thanks for sharing your perspective, I genuinely appreciate it. From my experience, only articles targeting the lowest hanging fruit (low-competition keywords) seem to rank when using AI-generated content. High-competition keywords don't. Which means that the best articles, usually written by humans, are at the top for the keywords that get the largest amount of traffic.

@@WesGPT that is what I've noticed as well. However, these pieces are good at generating traffic that comes from long tail obscure keywords, behind which is a person with intent. And it's not like the content doesn't satisfy the intent at all. Often times an AI article might be more helpful when compared to an affiliate-centered drivel. I used to run niche websites for affiliate marketing and looking back retrospectively it's quite shameful to remember. But nonetheless, it's not scalable for building a better internet. I tried running this and no articles were created, though I could send a test article. I tested the API and get a status code 429 error from OpeanAI, which means current quota exceeded. I have a credit card which auto tops up. Any idea what the issue is?

Try increasing your quota limit from: 1. platform.openai.com/ 2. SETTINGS > LIMITS > USAGE LIMITS

Not sure if my comment is missing but anyway, good video. My question is: What exactly is blackhat about this? You're just using your competitor to get article title ideas. I think even taking a step further and using AI to REWRITE the competitors articles is still legal?

No, you're right! I should have used "gray hat" instead.

While original idea is great and probably working, adding a bit of twists may improve it considerably.

@@WesGPT I wrote a script in python that takes in a list of URLS, scrapes each url for textual content, image links, headings or more relevant information. Then the script saves all this information in respective columns in a csv file. Then, using custom promts and the OpenAI python library, I construct blog posts using the information available. It will detect the most important subject with chatGPT and put it as the first word of the sentence, then if available it'll use the images for better SEO ranking. Then I save the response in .md file and using a diffrent python script I use the API of my e-commerce platform to post the blog posts. Generated 200 blog posts so far, using pages of competitors' products

Can someone Please explain the following? I dont understand how the traffic comes from the competitor website to your website with the blogpost arcticles. I mean you just wrote articles based on the competitors keywords. So why is the competitor losing traffic? Because you and the competitor are both competing with the same keywords now?

Exactly - we're both now competing for the same keywords, so a portion of their monthly traffic is coming over to your website.

In my newest video, I set up the AutoBlogger so that it also creates an image with the post. Definitely needed imo

I’ve spent the whole night writing and preparing the python script that does exactly that. Tried publishing it to a new domain +150 posts for a total of 30 euros (hosting and domain included). Seems like a good way. Reply if you also need a script, can share
