Thanks mate, will give this a shot. Was getting really frustrated last night - the game is really bad at explaining the intricacies of pit stops. I was also going in with a massive lead but coming out in 3rd…really need to practice my approach.

Two endurance races it took me to realize it had to be something in the pit. I truly didn’t understand what i was doing wrong! Thanks for this.

Very good video. I wish the game wasn't shit and explained like you did. I just got DSQ several times and I think the problem was that I didn't immediately go left to go to the pit lane but stayed as straight as possible for a few more seconds.

Can you get a DSQ for restarting a race in Championship mode? R1 went fine, but had to reset R2 bc it defaulted to wrong tire set. Did all the orange to green stuff and was careful about entry/exit but still DSQ. Only difference I know was the restart.

I got disqualified allready once in Monza Italy in GT Blanc pain sprint race how do i avoid that surly after one stunt i can't be DQd right?

Meanwhile now you keep getting hit with track limits when exiting the pit….

Everything was green going into the pits...tyre change, driver swap, pit window etc...when I came out of the pits the pit window and the driver swap sign went red and I was dq'd after winning the race...I went left first before leaving the pits because i had a car in front of me...I did everything exactly the same as you did...why in career mode do i need to add a 2nd player anyway...I'm in single player mode...the driving physics are great but the rest of the game is rubbish

Can I ask a question you may be able to help so I’ve got my pit limiter to auto but when I go into the pits despite slowing down to 50 the auto pit limiter not working any advice thanks

Are you on 1st gear? Pit limiter wont engage on any other gear.

If it is a sprint race the pit window must be open, the game will tell you and you need to select another driver on your pit screen.

I always got DSQ on Monsa and dont know why :(

I'm still get DQ in Nurburgring 😭, when I'm in the last pit. I re enter to the pit lane but it's still DQ me :(

So, we have to turn left real quick or you get disqualified? How would anyone know that

Not real quick but you have to get back to the normal pits exit lane just like all the cars behind would do, you cant just go straight to the exit and that would apply on real life too.

That's weird :) I can see your stint timer goes down but my doesn't is that from race 1 ?

Yes this is race 1, mine wasn’t going down either, i mean on the first laps it was showing 1:05:00 without moving then it showed those numbers, when i made the pit window appear again, and for stint 2 the number never changed, I don’t think that matters as long as you enter during the pit window, can see the new pilot on the top left and both squares are green after you exit the pits.

Gop Net ohh if you didn’t did that, trust me that is the issue. I made two 1 hour long races without doing it and everything else ok on green and still got DSQ.

Gop Net btw i just checked again in another race and if you want that to be updated, just pause the game go to options without moving anything and then back to the game and it will show the updated times for each driver.

When u pause the game..what did u changed? Sorry too fast but thanks for the video.

Bullz Eyes minimum message priority on the hud options, but i only changed it to high then back to normal (where it was)

I just checked again and you can make the window appear without having to go to the hud menu or changing anything, just pause the game go to options and back to the game and the window will appear.

I go left still got dsq

Can I always use the pit limiter as automatic??

what a joke. the fix is to sharply steer left at the end of the pit stop. its a joke becsause we are at the end of the pit. how am i suppose to know that. jeeeee, they should have dont that for the last postiion in the pit.
