A front kick is literally the only kick I need to know how to do, got a follow for this.
There was one video of Bruce Lee demonstrating this exact skill with the groin kick, thank you for reminding me that.

yea, if i'm being honest front kicks are the most crucial thing you need to learn first (apart from having your hands up lmao) and they're probably the easiest kick to start and get better at
Love your tip shorts, makes reviewing at the gym easy. One thing that's important for newer people is there's a difference between the forward lean and finishing in your opposite stance to close distance for an immediate secondary strike (your kicking leg goes to the floor after the strike, switching your stance), they look similar .. one creates imbalance (forward lean), the other allows you easily hit the Stone Cold Stunner.
Dude front kicks are where it’s at I had a friend who loved to spar at work when there was nothing to do he was a street fighter and would pick up anything I would use on him mix it all in countered me a lot but what would always get him when it landed my front kicks ended up sending him flying a few times

The trick to back kick balance is rechambering the leg after kicking. It's like a counter weight.

One thing that helps if you have access to a normal gym is grab a half-bosu ball, then stand one leg on it for time (each side), trying to go longer. As you get better, start adding some movement (like an outward hip rotation, hip thrust, back leg extension, rotation, etc.). This helps build better balance overall, you'll be performing in the circus in no time.

Try doing the same thing with roundhouse kicks and heel kicks to get a feel for doing the same hip movement from different angles. The idea is to keep your weight centered between your feet - even when one foot is up in the air. So that you've got the power of BOTH legs being channeled into the one kick. If you do it with roundhouse kicks and heel kicks, you'll feel like you're in the eye of a cyclone.

Honest question: What is your experience on the impact when it comes to land front kicks with the pad or with heel? I used to do with the pad but over the years as bouncer and bodyguard I adapted to use the heel. Saved me two times.😅
