WOW. By far the BEST vid out there to do this. I was nervous to do this but mine turned out better than I could have expected. I have the XR but your demo was all the same. If you don't have an extra guide sticker, fold up some scotch tape and use it in place for the guide sticker on the right side (to lift up the protector). I also used a flashlight to look at the screen... Glad I did because you don't always see everything in plain light.

Finally a proper explanation on how to use the guide stickers. Thank you very much.

The BEST tutorial I have watched for applying a glass screen protector. For the first time in years I have managed to apply a protector with NO bubbles whatsoever. Mine went on exactly as per this video with the large air bubble just disappearing to the top of the phone's screen on it's own. Brilliant. Many thanks.

Though this video is 4 years old, it's still easy to follow and ON TARGET. The brand I used had an installation video, the same wipes, and a sticky label to remove those tiny particles. (Look at it after using it. I was surprised at how many tiny specks it lifted!) Their video, however, didn't show me what to do with the guide labels. After watching it twice, I realized that instructions for them weren't going to magically appear. 😅 Fortunately, this video was just below. My hands are very trembley, and knowing how to use the guide saved me $10 to pay someone else. Thank you! I now have a new skill.

Wipes 1 and two are usually used to clean the surface of the screen. Here it is used for cleaning the protector.

Does anyone know what type of stickers I could buy from the store that would work like the ones in this video? I just ordered tempered glass protectors for my new iPad but they didn’t come with guide stickers. I’d feel more comfortable using them.

Perfect! Hassle free & quick I can't believe it. I didn't even get one single air bubble or one speck of dust! I am totally amazed. Thought for sure it was going to be a nightmare and it wasn't! Thanks for the video!

This is such a great tutorial. I got the Ailun brand screen protector, but the contents of the package (including the guide stickers) are pretty much identical (mine came with a camera lens protector, though, which I do like). The angle made it really easy to understand how it works since you can see the protector start to adhere if you leave it in place for a sec. I did have a couple of modifications that I think worked well for me. First, I put the phone on a slightly elevated surface (I used my 2-inch cutting board) to make it easier to fold the guide stickers around the edge without picking up the phone. Just ever so slightly let the edge you're putting the guide stickers on hang over the edge. It just gives you a little room to fold the stickers over without having to pick it up. Second, I carefully set the dusting sticker aside when I was finished with it, then used it as the third sticker in place of an extra guide sticker (the one in the middle you use to open it without touching the sticky side of the protector). I did that because mine came with two sets of protectors (one each of the screen protector and the lens protector) and just enough guide stickers to put both on if I needed to change it or use it on another phone.

Thank you so much omg I'm such a perfectionist when I need my glass screen protector done so I always do it by a professional but I just did it by myself and it came out perfect!

You should use the dust removal sticker immediately before placing the protector down. Also, you should not touch the circle part of the dust sticker, only the handle. Otherwise skin cells and oils from your finger contaminate the sticker. Otherwise great job.

It is much, much easier to apply the guide stickers with the phone over hanging the edge of a large hardcover book or a desk. This way you have access to both sides of the front/back of the smartphone.

I replaced the battery of my iPhone today. So I need the protector had to be put it again. I've been stressed out by problems with align on the corner or bubbling every time. However, after watching this video, I was able to attach the protector flawlessly. This is really a good example of how well humans can use tools.

I don't like tempered glass I'm still old school and I prefer plastic film. The problem was dust and adjustment. Finally over almost 12 years of failure your video allow me to install the film with no bubbles and no dust. Thank you sir. Plus I really like the tech armor films, they have quality.
