My humble submission is that in order pay less taxes you can also use these tips to pay less taxes in PSX. 1. If a company announces bonus share , sell before ex bonus date if you avail bonus you will be tax 10%. Buy after ex bonus date to pay less tax. 2- in the on 20th june Sell your shares which are on loss and immediately buy them again so you will pay less tax on capital gains, this loss will be adjusted in your gains, 3- instead of taking dividends which are taxed at 15%, Book profit and pay capital gain at 12.5 %, and buy them again after x dividends date

Appreciate ur effort. Keep it up. The real problem with tax filling is when a gov officer want to take ur hard earned money from ur pocket he can blackmail u in any way. The only thing one can do is not show income source. I believe for a little saving of money,Fbr's headache alot.

can be any. you just need to invest max allowed in the country, either in one payment or monthly. you can still claim whole rebate if you invest today as well.

Do you get final statement by UBL ? Better check in statement. At times support people from bank even don’t know about deductions

There are some withholdign tax on foregin transaction held by banks, you can claim and adjust in your salary.

Better consult some tax advisor to get registered. Don’t think you need to pay any taxes here but by not registering you will be paying more indirect taxes

Can a freelancer benefit from pension fund? as he already is not paying any tax 0.25% is almost none. If yes, please advise how?

by just registering themselves as tax payer with no income. You can save in direct taxes.

if you have not register yourself as tax payer than unfortunately you are paying double taxation on dividend amount. 20% on bonus
