Thank you for the comment/question. There is a possibility of chafing if the edge of the patch is in an area that would rub against your skin constantly. Otherwise you should be good.

You will want to use Seal Cement or Aquaseal and a small scrap of neoprene to complete the repair. I have a pair of neoprene fishing waders that got a mouse hole chewed in them, about the size of a small baseball... What material is the patch made of? and where can I find it? I'd prefer not to drop another couple hundred bucks on waders when I've only used these for one season...

Hi. I have a life jacket that I thought is neoprene. There are rips in it, but underneath that top surface that feels like neoprene, there's foam. So I'm not sure if that still makes it a neoprene life jacket since it's not like a wetsuit. Do you have suggestions how I can patch the rip? It's about 2" to 3" long, 2 rips.

I sustained a concussion under water and am making a think neoprene headband to prevent another hit in the forehead. How do I glue the tan fabric onto the black neoprene. The fabric is for neoprene, I am not sure which product to use. I teach swimming lessons and if I glue it wrong it will be distracting to my students. You mention glues in your video, but the talking is too fast and I cannot catch what you say. Thank you for any info you can give

Trouta Holic Aquaseal and a product called Cotol-240 are often combined to accelerate the cure time on neoprene repairs. You can find this product at the following link: www.nrs.com/product/2294/aquaseal-urethane-repair-kit

rob ase we recommend contacting your local watersports shop or an online retailer like seattlefabrics.com for small patch-size quantities of neoprene material.

This year we have a much better solution. ULOW Liquid PVC, without patches and very fast.
