Very similar, I done width restriction the roundabout which is close to the test centre, the another roundabout next to the dual carriageway

Watched five minutes and can tell you're a great instructor, will enjoy the rest of this video (and rewatching as have my test coming up in 6 weeks). many thanks

I have just come back in like 40mins ago from Sidcup where I had my driving test. Passed with 2 minors (it had to be pointed out I guess but they were Awareness/Planning - I missed the right turn towards C.London but came back to it after turning round at BeefEater AND a Junction Observation which I am not sure what it is but I think its when I waited too long to jump into a space before the next set of cars blocked me in and had to wait for them). @Dorian, thank you, this video was the last driving video I saw, last night, although not the same route but your explanation shows you are in tune answering questions that learners are asking in their head, I am thankful for your making these videos and your approach to teaching. Although I am not an absolutely new driver, I have not driven in UK which is over 10years and your videos are one of those that has helped me, all done in less than 9.5hrs driving lessons.

I have my test on Tuesday at Siddcup so thank you for this video!

So helpful, thank you. I've got my driving test in 2 months at Sidcup. Are there any particular roundabouts or junctions that are tricky that I need to focus on and practise? Any feedback would help, thanks.

If you doing manual, practice the roundabout as you come out of the test centre as it's on a gradient at the start of your test when you'll be nervous. Also, practice Crittles corner roundabout as it's a spiral roundabout. Other than that, Sidcup is straightforward, in my opinion. You have two months which is a good amount of time to practice. How did you get on?

On a roundabout, where the first exit is straight ahead, do you need to signal on approach to the roundabout, or do you not signal until you leave the exit?

Hi Lots, this is an actual theory test question. No signal is needed on approach, but signal after the exit you don't need. This is only applied to a big roundabout as no signal will be required on a mini-roundabout.

I didn’t pass this at Sidcup unfortunately (managed to get a serious fault on a motorway - I slowed down in the middle lane (was overtaking slower traffic in the left lane) and caused a driver to slow down behind me). But, I had one last attempt (Sidcup was my second attempt) at Sevenoaks literally today and am happy to say that I passed with just one single minor fault. 🙌🏼🙌🏼😊 Now onto the ADI Part 3 course!

Got a test on Monday at sidcup will update the results!

Thank you for a very informative video! The road markings for the minor road you turn into at 19:30 seem to indicate no entry, but there is no "no entry" sign and you are clearly able to enter the road. Is this an error or have I misunderstood the road markings?

You are right. The road markings suggest that, but there is no road sign. If you watch carefully, there are cars parked in both directions. That's the advantage of practising in the area you are taking your test, so you don't get thrown off by things like that. Well spotted, though. Good observations.

Put the address of the test centre in the sat-nav. Then your looking at 20 min drive out in any direction from the test centre. As it is basically 20 mins out and 20 mins back. I hope this helps.

As for a driving instructor in Sidcup, I no longer work in that area and haven't for a while so I can't help. I would suggest asking for recommendations from friends or family who have taken lessons in the area. Good luck with your test preparation!

How did you get on?

Thank you for the video Dorian. Please I'll like to ask if permitted to allow other road users to give way and then thanking them during driving test like what happened at -21:49 of the video when u creep halfway. Also when in a narrow road where cars are packed on the sides of the road. Will this be seen as causing upcoming car to slow down or break for me if not space to pull over for the to go especially if they have the right of the way ???

When the road is narrow, and the car is parked on your side of the road, the car coming down has priority. Never wave a car through. If you want to give way, stop and let them decide if it is safe. You can thank drivers if they let you go, but my advice is to let the examiner do it, and you focus on driving.

Hi Oma, this was filmed a few months ago. They don't change the routes all the time. The routes are set as the sat-nav part of the test is pre-programmed, and following signs need to be on point.

@@drinkswithsplendour4387 There's no address; this is a test route I use with my pupils. Check the description down below; there is an app you can download to practise test routes.

Do I still need to get additional interior mirror and small sides mirrors when using own car for driving test ??? Can I arrange an assessment or mock driving session with you before my driving test ???

You need to supply a rear view mirror for the examiner and L plates and make sure the car is insured.

Firstly, are practicing in Ashford or Sidcup? Take the test where you are practicing gives you the better chance of passing. To change you test, you'll have to go online to look for cancellations. If your using an instructor ask them to ask other instructors to swap. I hope that helps.

@@ShrayNihira, I know nobody, as your test is in Ashford. Not many people want to switch to there. Try Monday morning at 6 am; that's when they release new dates for all the test centres. You just have to be online at the right time. Good luck.

Great to find test routes on KZread BUT there’s too many interior shots of the instructor speaking and too many cuts to the side geography. It would be more helpful if the main focus stayed on the road ahead i.e. the actual test route.

Ask yourself why there are lots of interior shots. The driving test is failed from within the car, not outside. The chances of you remembering the test route from a video on test day are unlikely. We show you from within, so you can see how we deal with situations, and you can relate this to your driving lessons. If you do the right thing, you'll pass your driving test regardless of the route. The point was noted, though.

Big Ruk, Sidcup is not a complex test centre. There are one or two areas that aren't straightforward. I would recommend practising in any area you take your test, though.
