Hi please can I book a few hours of reversing exercise and how much does it cost?

hallo everyone , im doing this training for 3 days i cant make its . i was thinking why why that marker is the issues . the person who put the markers its will only work for same hight persons . im short guy my seat postions diffrents everytime right turn full after see the mark i turn to the left full back to the yellow line i cant see the cone . tomorrow im going to have the test im going to try over the maker and turn let seee

I got my C class for over 20y but used it only for last 4 months on 7.5t. Thinking of C+E in my 44age is it good idea or is it late? Anyone started later in age ?

But how do you know that the back of your trailer is in the yellow box? What is the best trick here?

This is all that’s required for Mod 3a. This part is usually assessed by your training provider. You’ll usually do the Mod 4 (show and tell stuff) at this point as it’s more convenient. Then you move onto road driving training before the 3b on-road test.

correcly me if i m wrong but i think the u.k not longer requiery you to pass the reverse and coupling and uncopling the trailler it is assing by your instructor that you are cable of to do it! the U.K governament has sign off last september unless otherwise has change back again!

We made this video purely because these are the new rules that have changed. You can now go from your car license, to your class 1. Reversing and uncoupling is still something you will have to complete and pass. You have to pass this section before you are allowed to take your test. They just haven’t included it in the test anymore, it’s now separate 👍

Beautiful. Got my test tomorrow after a fail for taking too long yesterday. Apparently it has to go in within 10 minutes. I took 12 and got failed

Wow first time I’ve heard of that rule. Though 12 minutes does seem very excessive to do that manoeuvre, so I’m guessing it’s at the examiners discretion. How many shunts did you take?

Hi yeah 12 minutes is long I agree. I took 2 shunts and managed to get it in slowly but surely. I was told I had 30 minutes for it all and had my timer on

@Peter Bread haha you did good there mate. I don't know how I got myne in but did with 2 shunts. Did it the day after and passed. I was on fast track course from car to c + e in 9 days

auto or manual?

Do you stay in the vehicle and wait for the examiner or do you have to get out and check it, and if so, can you leave the engine running, or must you switch the engine off?

Believe me or not this is best reverse I have seen since I am watching KZread and also the truck is like brand new I think it does matter with new trucks for first time driver the one I am having lesson is over 9 years old and had nearly 1 million Km on clock and I failed it first time enterprises Manchester very bad trucks so stay away

behind the driver on the front of the trailer box is a short vertical white line

You shouldn’t need any shunts. You get more room than that on the actual test

Get a good honest instructor. Artic reversing is opposite lock and plenty of practice.

First
