First off, you did a great job with customizing that stock exhaust. Sounds friggen great. I'm considering doing it myself. But there is an another amazing exhaust solution im considering, the problem is they cost an insane amount. $2k-$3k. Dr. Jekill and Mr. Hyde. You get 3 different exhaust note settings in 1 exhaust and you have an electronic button that hooks up to your handlebar so you can change with a button press. You can quiet mode, balanced mode and full beast mode and I gotta say it's an incredible and very appealing solution. But for the Scout, it's around $2.4k, but you can customize it to your liking. It's one of the best sounding ive heard in balanced and fully unleashed but it's a steep price.
very clever and saved heaps of money. I see the scout OEM exhaust as one of the things that give it its uniqueness, so great work around.

It’s the sound of a beautiful motorcycle that does not leave oil spots

Bad ass, my friend. 1000% better. I just did the shorty gp slip ons on my Chief for now, but you got me thinking about doing something with my stock mufflers....

Whats that funky whirring sound that makes it sound like a kitchen aid stand mixer?

Just the sound of the bike. They all sound like that
Pardon my ignorant question, I'm just not mechanically inclined. But is it possible to keep both baffles and also shorten the exhaust pipes? I'm a fan of the short look, but not the increase in decibels. Thanks for this video btw!

I made some changes to the exhaust, check out my part 2 video. You could do what I did in my part 2 video but leave the center baffle in it so that it would be more quiet.
I was all ready to get the tools out on my day off and..... No tig welder 😢
Did you holesaw the second baffle from the outlet of the inlet of the muffler? I am a bit confused on these work

@@desertmetalfab3170 do you think there is a hack job way to do this without having to weld anything? Maybe some kind of adhesive on the ends?

Nothing thats going to hold up no. I would just do everything you can and just find a local welding shop that can weld them up.
Check out my Part 2 video for updated changes I did to the exhaust. kzread.info/dash/bejne/aH6LtpaffrPan6w.html
