Thank you for your video. I've had my PLT Legend headset for several years. I used it with my Android phones, but I never used it with my laptop/Alienware M17 R4 with Windows 10 Pro. I always forget about the little a** pairing button on the back. It took less than 5 seconds for it to pair, plus the settings windows looked different. I guess both things are because of how Windows 10 Pro works. It automatically configures as a headset for voice and music. Thank you again.

My PT Legend was already paired to my Windows 10 machine but for some reason I suddenly got no audio when I selected the PT_Lgend Stereo as the sound output device (it had been working fine before). I removed the device from my bluetooth and used your instructions here to re-pair and it works fine now. Thanks!

I followed the steps but my PC (Windows 10) is not recognizing any bluetooth devices even if I already turned on the bluetooth on my PC (under settings) as you showed on your video. My Plantronics device is already in pairing mode as you instructed on your video. I also tried to turn on the bluetooth on my Android phone but my PC cannot recognize it as well. My Plantronics headset and Android phone were already paired up. I was also able to pair my Plantronics headset with my work laptop (also Windows 10). Do you have any thoughts on what I should do? Thank you. :)

maybe set the mic in hardware and sounds then set computer speakers as default sound

Hi, I have two questions and it would be really helpful if you could answer. 1) My sister needs this for conference calls but she is using the company's laptop and can't install anything on it. Does this need some kind of driver installing to be used? Seeing the video it looks like it does not but I wanted to be sure. 2) Does this needs some kind of usb dongle to connect to the pc or it can be done purely by the computer bluethooth? I have seen that an "UC" version of this is sold with the dongle so this confuses me. In your video you do not show such a dongle but I wanted to be sure about this too. Thanks in advance

well one it depends on the computer windows system. if its windows 10 then you should not need to download anything. I know windows 7 and windows 8 sometimes require a driver to download but most of the time causes confusion and may not work. when I paired the headset there was no additional gadget, adapter or dongle needed to connect. simply the computer bluetooth settings and plantronics headset.

btw is this a computer desktop or laptop it's being connected to ? laptops should have a bluetooth already built in but some desktops depending on the model will determine if it has a built in bluetooth adapter or you might need to buy a bluetooth receiver adapter. you can check under device manager settings and see if a bluetooth adapter driver exists and if it does then it might be a simple need of enabling it.

@@SilverLining444 many thanks. Yes is a laptop but I will check it has Bluetooth capabilities before purchasing and that it has windows 10. One last question, If you have used for meet, zoom, skype... etc audio calls. How has been your experienced with it? Do people understand you clearly? Is the audio sort of like phone-call audio or more hifi like what a normal microphone would give? Sorry if this is too much.

I've only used it for Skype but that was a while back and the experience wasn't so good since I believe of weak internet connection on both ends. say, if you're buying a computer for zoom or Skype what about the cell phone ? it's way more convenient. I use zoom and with other bluetooth and its good overall. sometimes the quality is determined by also the internet and other person calling source

@@SilverLining444 thanks! We already have experience using zoom and google meet but my sister wants a device that will suppress unwanted house noise. So thats why I'm more concerned with the raw audio quality, and specifically the noise suppression this device has for the listener in the other end; that is , we are ignoring connectivity problems and so on.
