1) get on laptop -log into iCloud -go to settings forget Apple Watch 7 2) turn off Apple Watch then turn back on 3) go to WiFi on Apple Watch and connect hotspot on phone to watch it will connect

My watch is not attached ?

i do, heck i'm getting a stainless steel one soon

1800 dollars for a phone and 800 for a watch and you think it would just be able to recognize it's the same Apple ID lol and sync instantly. Useless

Day 2 of asking which Apple Watch is

It's January 21st 2024 and I'm trying to set up an iPhone 5 with an iwatch 3 for my 10yr old daughter..the phone has rhe latest software version 12.5.7 and the watch has been reset with the pairing "energy ball" image on the screen. When I scan it with phones camera I get an error message saying "iPhone is out of date....cancel pairing or update now" which takes me to the software update settings screen that tells me the phone is up to date......WTF ?!?! Is this something as simple as Apple having put some blocking software in the update preventing the two devices from working,making them obsolete and forcing me to have to buy brand new overpriced devices and literally throw working technology in the bin??🤬🤬🤬🤬

Yes iPhones go “out of date” my iPhone 10 just went out last September and I couldn’t update it so I had to buy a new one

Yeah but you lose all exercise data

And I reseted my Apple watc😡
