How to paint wood with oil paints

In this video im going to show you how to paint realistic looking wood on your scale models using oil paints and turpentine as a thinner. I dont recommend using turpentine, it smells really badly.
Im not saying that this is the correct way to do it, im just saying what worked for me!

    I was thinking. When you have left it to dry for a day or two, do you apply a clear coat before you apply the washes?

    Clear coat on balsa wood wouldn't really work properly, so no I don't
