I have no excuse...Already 10 months uploaded and I have just found the time to see this tutorial in whole. I really enjoyed every second and I am really impressed of how much detail can be added to a figure using just painting. But when the painting is coming from the hands of the Grand Master Jaume Ortiz then looks perfect and easy to do! I think this is the best video in the hobby for painting Early German Uniforms in 1/35 Scale. Of course also the Alpine Miniatures quality combining with Vallejo Acrylics giving a perfect result! Keep on going friends!

Truely amazing but, how did he paint the face, can you not paint the face with this colour set? Do you need to buy a separate paint set for the face?

Hello Frank, this set aims to give you the colors for the uniform, including a special step-by-step guide. If you want to paint the model's face, you have some videos available on this, our KZread channel. You can follow the color scheme or adapt the hues depending on your likes or needs.

This figure is meant for beginners because of how it's marketed as "how to paint". People learning to paint will not have an airbrush, compressor, spray booth and all the other trimmings that go with having an airbrush set-up. If somebody is purchasing a figure with a pre-arranged paint set, what makes You as a company think somebody at home will already have an airbrush. Just saying since the most important step of how to paint in this tutorial is done by a tool 99% of novice painters will not have, and that's an airbrush.

Hi!, I appreciate your comment, but I think you're wrong. Airbrushing is not the main technique showed on the video. It's very helpful and saves time, but base coat can be done by brush and this wouldn't affect the rest of painting process. All the best

@@jaumeortiz4767 Agreed Jaume. You only used it for the pre-shade process. However this is probably more of an advanced tech video as it takes many hour of work and skill to pull off the awesome results shown.

Well, MF... That's what local modeling clubs and stores are for. You can always meet somebody who will guide you through the makings on beginning to paint with an airbrush. Most clubs have airbrushing equipment and club members eager to show you how it's done. And if such a place is not near you nor available, you can always brush paint both the primer and the first coat on the figure and carry on working from there. Cheers, mate.

When you tell people what colour and amounts you’re never give them the people who are listening enough time to take in what you’re telling others it’s a shame we pick up small parts get some bits wrong some right not just your self others

Hi there! Thank you for sharing your feedback. If you require additional time to review the colors and take note of the recipe, feel free to pause the video and continue with the painting process once you're ready. This is an easier method to follow the video instructions.
