A greats coincidence that I have been trying to paint waterfalls too! I find waterfalls fascinating mesmerising. Moreover in my culture water signifies wealth, and people like to hang pictures with waterfalls on their walls. Thank you very much. More please.

Wonderful! Glad you enjoyed it! What culture are you from?

Use a hair blow drier to heat up the tape and it will loosen up the glue and you can peel the tape off without pulling off paper. Beautiful waterfalls!

Thanks, I loved your informative tutorial. Even though I'm much older than you, I'm in the same boat & also painting my first waterfall as part of my art class. Re the masking tape problem: perhaps if you guesso paint the cardboard first, the tape won't stick as much & will peel off more easily. Also, you could try using masking tape bought from the art store, not the hardware store - if that's the case. (I'm in Australia & have found the 'Magpie' brand superb.) Good luck in your art career; your waterfalls look great!
