Great spraying! Starting from the inside out. I also position my spray gaurd the same way. It's so awkward the other way. Great video!

Can you spray trim if walls are already painted or is that too much masking involved? Just wondering what happens in new construction when baseboard has to be installed last after flooring floors are put in...

I'm not an expert on sprayers, but can this be done with an air sprayer? What's the major disadvantage or risk? Thanks, and nice video!

When masking windows for spraying; do put plastic to cover most of the window pane surface, but then use a paper masker to tape off the edges. The reason for this is, if you only masked off with plastic up to the edges, the first coat will overspray onto clean plastic which is just fine. The problem is, if you spray a second coat, whatever overspray stuck to the plastic on your first application will blow off in flakes and fall all over your wet second coat, ruining the job. When you use masking paper at the edges this will not happen as the first coat of paint will remain stuck to the paper and will not blow off. Disregard this advice if youre only spraying one coat. On the many new houses that I've prepped for spraying there was a primer coat, first coat finish and second coat finish, which makes using paper at the edges much safer.

RacX AND FFLP tips go with the blue guard. Not just FFLP

Not true, the black Graco trueairless tips spray just as well as the flip ones. Maybe show us the difference between the 700$+ one and maybe something like the Graco X5 that is only 320$. even buying the RACX guard and FFLP tips for the X5 won't cost you anywhere near 400$.

Am I the only one who actually prefers brushing my trim? Something about a quality hand brushed paint job just cant be beat in my option! This guy does amazing work don't get me wrong. I guess its just preference. Do you want your end product to look like a factory widget, sterile and, same as the one before it or a one of a kind work of craftsmanship? The subtle imperfections of hand paining are nothing compared to the harsh lines potentially left by and inexperienced sprayer.

I definitely prefer the sprayed look done by a professional instead of having brush strokes in my trim.

Hi Jacob - I’m using pro classic as well and on the back of the can it says minimum tip of .017. Did you thin your so that you could spray out of the smaller tip?

Lol. 700 bucks that's a home jobber unit. It'll get the job done but it's not even close to a professional unit.

Housing? Insert? Lol. Tip and guard… that’s what it’s called. Also, a 700 Dollar sprayer IS a VERY inexpensive sprayer. You clearly don’t know what you’re talking about
