I love the eyes better on the lower wolf than in the reference! You've captured a wildness with the lighter eyes and the position perhaps of the pupils! Love these two and how you put them together! 🥰

All my paintings are non toxic acrylic paintings.

I had to pause this to go and watch our deer who come out in evenings. There were 7. two were immature males. It's interesting to watch their interaction with each other. I love to see how you work these animal paitings. By the way, I fixed my ram. Thanks for your input. 💞

Your transforming to Impressionist strokes looks really great on your wolves, rock and pine tree. Very well done. Have you noticed your approach to backgrounds is becoming more and more Post-Impressionist? Makes for a unique, and fun approach that is wonderful to see produced. I would like to stand in front of the actual painting and stare for a while.

Wonderful painting! I love painting wolves. Wolves have such different personalities. I like the grey and black ones the best. I have a European bred German Shepherd dog, and her eyes are like those of a wolf. She has a long coat and very dark with tan legs and underbelly. I often use her face and eyes when painting wolves. Thanks for sharing your painting. You are very talented and an excellent instructor! Have you ever painted a buffalo? I want to do a western plains painting with buffalo. Thanks again.

Yes I have painted Buffalo. I plan on doing another one in a few weeks for a commission. I have to finish some of these other ones first though.
