Here it is y'all! Please be nice, this is the first time iv ever made a tutorial... I tried my best to keep it short... I edited out the unneeded parts in order to save time... Next one will be more organized and well thought out. I really hope you all enjoy this tutorial/how to video. I'm happy very grateful to have 5,000 Subs right now ... And hope this channel keeps growing with all of your help! It has truly been an experience interacting with y'all!
Thanks for watching and remember always keep your brush clean and water down your paints!!

My son and I have several figures we've been wanting to repaint but I couldn't find any good info on how to go about the process or what kind of paint to use but this video has given me enough information I'm finally feeling confident in giving it a shot
This tutorial was soooo good. So helpful too. I have a black widow I'm dying to customize, now I know what paint to get.

Congrats bro. It's a great hobby and can turn into a career.
I just spent a really relaxing half hour with you while customizing my own figure. I was applying a smooth acrylic base coat with you and thought of some new techniques to try now and in the future. Thanks friend.
I like this tutorial. Very descriptive and thorough. I've trying to make a custom Emma frost, but I didn't know how to paint. Watching your tutorial makes it easier to understand how to paint. Thank you!

You actually got me into tryna do my own custom, and to do that ive started looking up how to disassemble and repaint. Amazingly enough, you had a video for both. When i subscribed i didnt realize how awesome your channel really is. Thanks Poundz!
Looks like you picked up almost 15k subscribers since this video. Nice work mate. This video is going in my saved list.
Poundz, i have to say, theres good amount of people willing to share work skills on here, but i really appreciate you showing us how its done and equally how its not done, i love your tutorials, ive learnt so much, Thanks !
Looks spot on to the comic, 10 out 10.
This tutorial is still so very useful to me even after so many years. Thank you.🙏
Not only an excellent art job but also an excellent done video! You’re an great artist in both worlds. Thanks man!
Man. This is great. You really get down and cover the "simple" stuff most other painters and customizers just gloss over in their how tos. Made a huge mistake on my first custom and never went back (enamel, ruined the figure and the brushes I used). Seeing a simple, doable tutorial like this makes me want to try again.

Shaun totheMaxx thanks man, I try to stay transparent with everything I do and wanted to show that mistakes happen. No ones perfect ... Yes.. Never use Enamel paints .. They never dry and leave the figure tacky .. Thanks for watching
Thank you. I was looking for a way to repaint my son's action figure so he could have a 12 inch batman beyond. This tutorial helped out a lot. Here's a subscribe.

A damp paper towel is a paint brushes best friend. Always have one by your side to wet/wipe your brush every time you apply. I've never understood ppl getting those expensive, fancy little glass bottles of paint lol. I've been painting figures since the mid 90's and always used regular old acrylic paint. They cost about a dollar a bottle and they come in a thousand colors and varieties. But yeah, a good spotter brush is a must have for all those fine detailing. A toothpick/big t-shaped needle works even better for painting pupils and such.
@Poundz978

Mark Curtis a cup of water to rinse the brush every now and then and then wipe on a paper towel is the best way to go. I have used regular acrylic before and I was pleased with it until I met those little fancy glass bottles .. For me the paint is much more durable, it doesn't collect dust once dry, it doesn't dry sticky and tacky even when exposed to heat. To each is own, the Benefit of .50 cent paints are its color selection ... And yes toothpick/pins for pupils ..(which I need more practice in) I hardly ever make faces
Wow nice work👍
