Hi Lee, I have a little tip for you. For the spotlight or the vision ports, I use 2 thin layers of stormhost silver, then use a gemstone paint in 3 or 4 thin layers, then use ardcoat to make it nice and shiny

a good alternative to blutac is whitetac, it doesn't leave behind any oily residue if you leave it too long. A better alternative (although initially more expensive) alternative is to get some "clever" or "smart" putty, the kind that shatters if you hit it with hammer but stretches if you pull it etc, I have a tin of "clever putty" by Tobar. It's good because it doesn't leave behind any residues, easily removes from the model and once you apply it and wait a couple of minutes it will settle into recesses allowing a perfect mask

You can also use therapy putty, NRS yellow and green therapy putty are both excellent as they're non stick, no residue, and all you have to do to get rid of the airbrush coat is just work it for 2 or 3 minutes and it just disintegrates.

Just ordered 3 tanks (2x LR, 1x RD) to start an AM tank army. Will definitely try this. Hope this works with rattle cans too.

Hi, nice video and technic. Instand of blue tec. Could i use Miliput or "das Clay"?

Thanks! I wouldn't. The Miliput or Das Clay will harden and potentially stick to the model which could be a nightmare to remove and could damage the model/paint underneath. Blue or white tac is great. You could also try masking fluids, but I wonder how much control you'll have with them?

This is gonna be the silliest of questions but I'm curious about that beads bracelet you got, isn't that volcanic rock from Tenerife or the Canary Islands?

    does it work with bruses?

It should work with brushes. As long as the blue tac is pressed down firmly I think it'll be great.
