Your selection of colors(and accuracy of them) is outstanding, as is your impressionistic( but realistic feel) when you painted this. So pretty. I actually hiked up to a fall on Kauai and recall the emerald green water. I think I will give it a go, but simplify mine a little because I am not as advanced a painter (beginner) as you. I think this painting is for intermediate level correct?

Once again, you've created an amazing piece. I so want to try acrylic painting, but I'm afraid. I don't know what colors to mix. I don't know how to look at a reference picture and chose the paints to start with. Maybe you could do a very in depth tutorial on choosing and mixing paint colors. You could also live stream...just a couple of thoughts. Thank you for your beautiful tutorials.

It would have probably been easier for you to just gesso the painting you didn't like, if only because you can sand that surface down and have a nice, smooth, absorbant layer.
