Straight to the point and great tutorial. Would have loved the details on how the base was made too.

Thank you. I'm planning on putting something together for this style of base soon-ish too.

Can I ask what brushes you use chief? Especially the stippling and large base brushes from the beginning.

I like to use Zhu Ting brushes (amzn.to/3TAWJ9x) for my basecoats. I find the quality pretty consistent and they are cheap. For the drybrush and stippling, I was using cheap makeup brushes from this set amzn.to/3s7Pjiu I hope this helps.

Great video! Concrete is one of those things that LOOKS like you wouldn't need a tutorial, but just painting grey is not the same as painting concrete.

Agreed. I really want to incorporate painting texture into more surfaces as I progress. It really sells the effect on stuff like this.

Thanks. The slabs are plasticard, the debris is Vallejo Rough Pumice paste and the rock is a peice of clay cat litter. I hope this helps.

What colors did you use for the wash?

I believe I just grabbed some Agrax Earthshade and/or Seraphim Sepia for this. I would happily use any brown wash or contrast paint for this part though.
