I really love your paintings you make them look so easy. I haven't tried your methods yet, I am still trying to convince myself to start. I have always been a realism painter but am now trying to loosen up I love the impressionist look. Thankyou so much David for your clear and easy to follow teaching method. Thankyou David for another inspiring painting .The colorsare so beautiful and alive. I would love to see some Australian gum tree blossoms or some bottle brush flowers . The colors are so beautiful. Australia has some interesting native flowers. They have interesting birds and flowers. I would love to seeyou paint some of these what do you think.? Many thanks till next tme Jan

Really pretty.!! ..I remember my first daisy painting 20 yrs ago ..plain background and the round brush with perfect strokes ..I am slowly getting more casual ..love the beautiful colours in this painting ..Thanks David

Yes, daisies were my first. Just fun to paint. My decorative ones were really stiff. Love these..

Can you explain more about using acrylic paint

Beautiful painting, and love your technique, which allows an acrylic painting to have the soft subtlety of an oil painting. I have been able to achieve softness and complexity with detailed colored pencil drawings, but painting with acrylics has been more challenging. I'm learning a lot from your style and management of color. And yes--I agree that most people are first drawn to a painting by the skillful use of color. 🙂👍

I love watching your videos, they are fantastic. And you are fantastic too, for sharing your knowledge with us. I have never tried acrylic painting but watching your videos I really want to give it a try. May I ask what is the name of the material you are painting on? Slows down the drying of the acrylic so you can work a wet edge, makes the casual look really easy.

Love the bg's all the time. They look like reflection. I keep trying, mine look like... well nothing. They're just nothing at all. No movement, no interest, just blobs
