Fantastic work as usual!! Thank you for bringing new products to the 1/16 world. Long overdue for sure
Wow Andy!!! It was already love at first sight❣️ But now with her make-up on... Totally knocked out🤩❣️ Thank you soooo much for another great video. All the best from Holland 🍀 for you and all your loved ones❣️
The Jeep and the Easy Eight look wonderful together. Superb work as always, Andy.
Thanks for the pointers. Definitely will use this but will go with Canadian Sherman M4A3(76)W HVSS tank Beowulf, B Squadron, The Lord Strathcona’s Horse (RC), 2nd Armoured Regiment, Imjin River, Korea, August 1952. If I read correctly the Americans loaned 20 easy 8 to the Canadians.
Superb🥳🥳😊 you could look at the Film Fury and set up a diorama from that. I’d love to see the Korean version in a diorama from the MASH episode where Frank Burns destroys Col Potters jeep
Hi Andy enjoyed the video on the sherwani. I went to local hobby shop and picked up the last one. Which I have been waiting for since released. Looking forward to the build.
Excellent job Andy
Looks fantastic only after watching for a few seconds
looks good .. use to build lots of 1/35 and model cars, but now I can't justify $35.00 for a model car and really can't justify $ 125.00 + for 1/16 scale ....that money now buys gas and food...so I'll sit an enjoy watching you all build ... keep up the good work ...waiting to see the finished tank factory !!!!!
Your work is incredible as always. Thanks for all these tutorials. Im definitely going to be referring to this video a lot when I build mine.

Some tension to detail missing in the weathering if you under stand
NICELY DONE STILL WANT TO SEE A PLT , EVEN WHITH A COMMAND JEEP WOULD LOOK EVEN BETTER 👌 .
Great job Andy. Congratulations on having your on model design.
Your weathering always brings so much life to the piece that you're doing I love how it looks 👍👍

One shouldn't overdo the weathering though. First, these vehicles were brand new, maybe 1 year old so not that much time to fade. Then, the first responsibility of a tank crew is to keep its tank running and that is done by regular maintenance and cleaning. That means as soon as there is a break from combat. And you certainly wouldn't see any rust or it would be touched up immediately.
My brother would do it "Factory Fresh" with a massive aversion to weathering.
I pickup up Sherman Tank Easy Eight 1/35 great kit🇺🇸
Well done Andy! I got my 1/16 scale Jeep from you a little while ago looking forward to the build!
Super job Andy👌
I'm so happy you finally started using varnish to give the models that sweet metallic sheen
Andy I finished mine today! This is an incredible kit and I had such great experience with this build. I stole your idea for scratch building the board on the front transmission cover and I made mine up in the "OH NUTS" decals with the mantlet cover and the main gun fixed in place. I also built the 1/4 ton utility truck in 1/16 so now the pair together look great!
Amazing build, museum quality, you definitely captured the "iron patina". Patton would be proud. The fact you built the model before painting is incredible, I've never done that, however that may change on my next project. It seems to give you a better platform to finish out. Like shrinking the submarine in Fantastic Voyage, but leave Rachel Welch out :-) Well maybe more like Fury. So many colors so many decisions.

I always paint my military vehicles after construction. The model is as a blank canvas waiting for a painter. What"s more, in all those years of modelling I never used a spray gun or can. The old masters for which this country is famous never needed those either.

@@flitsertheo good point, I ordinarily build aircraft, however , I'm starting to see assembling first and then painting on these new huge scale kits too. The technique, ( cockpits aside), might work better on the smaller scales too like 1/72 and 1/48). My first kits many years ago I hand painted with Humbrol paints. Early AMT cars came out about the time of spray cans, before that we'd actually use car wax to smooth out the hand paints. I've got some old kits stashed back I may just check out this technique .
Man the amount of detail is amazing
Flawless build. You are a true artist.
the wheels scrubbed the track to a shiny metal under them, and the gaps in the tracks put a distinctive dust line on the wheels, something to try on your next build, also the cleats on those tracks
I know this is 3 months ago but the information is very useful. I'm working on detailing my Sherman and this helps me a lot. Thank you for your sharing.
Damn Andy. 10/10.
That looks awesome Andy!!!
Looks great 👍
As always a epic looking build
Well done! You should have "scratched" the decals with the Body Color as well. And the Hose from your Airbrush is still hanging down ;) BR from Germany
thanks you so much for bringing this to the market, its been a dream of mine to build a static M4 in 16th scale, for years now and now I can, I really looking forward to mine arriving ordered both the Tank and the truck . superb model, would be nice to see the weathering of the tracks ad figure!
Another Outstanding build video and presentation. Thank you. I pre-ordered mine on your On-line store.
Outstanding job Andy. I'm super impressed.
Superb build Andy Great effects and render of tones tools and effects Bravo!!
Beautiful. I'd have added a wee bit of battle damage, maybe a dozen or so armor piercing mg rounds on the turret. Easy with a hot piece of wire.
2 days into my build of this kit. Wow... the fit of the parts is stunning. Well done Andy. Glad I preordered your Tiger 1.
bravo, maestro - always enjoy viewing your contributions
Sweet,looking forward to getting mine
Amazing work.
thank you so much!!! For the videos and store I really enjoyed building this kit and it turned out great with your help.
You are the bob ross of plastic miniatures
Excellent Job, only Thing I would have added was more dirt on the road wheels and small gouges in the rubber sections as they would get driving through Europe.
that is some museum quality weathering! Fantastic job
Got mine today! Love it! Can't wait to crack on with it!
Brilliant work.
Amazing work. Really enjoyed watching.
I love to build, but hate to weather my models. Probably due to my inexperience with weathering. Andy, you have the touch for sure.
Amazing 👏 👏 I can hear it running
Good job it could almost pass for a real one, you should put a picture of it in black and white on the video.
Awesome!
Very nice!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great Job as always...Cant wait to get my hands on minds
Very nice detail and finish👍
nice you are one a good path cant waith for the future models in the invertorie
THE GERMAN TANKERS SAID THAT THE FIRST THING THEY AIMED AT WAS THE WHITE STAR, WHICH THE AMERICAN TANK CREWS STARTED TO PAINT OVER THE STAR. LATER THEY DID NOT PAINT THE STAR ON THE TURRENT LATER IN WW2. YOUR WORK AND DETAIL IS GREAT, WISHED THAT I COULD SEND YOU THE PICTURES OF MY HEN LONG R/C TANK! U BOAT COMMANDER 157.
Awesome work as always, but you may want to try Mr. Hobby mark setter and softer, after the first use I retired my markfit forever.
great job love your channel and love your store
Nicely done
Really nice build! greetings from Ecuador!
Hello Andy ! I speak English very poorly (I'm French), but I watch your videos. It's so great!! I have ordered the Jeep Takom 1016 1/16 US WWII on your European site i would venture to make one suggestion: Produce the Harley-Davidson Motorcycle, WWII 1/16, . That would be really great !! Hoping this will be one of your future projects, I will continue to follow your very informative videos even if I don't understand all the words. 👍👍👍
Amazing
1/16... i need to get me one of those!!
Excellent build sir. A museum piece; perhaps in The Louvre.
Just fantastic. At 1/16th the detail really shows. I love the detail texture of formed steel on the turret. The weathered look is spot on just the correct amount. It's a big piece, will you build a diorama for it?

Great build and a fantastic kit. Any chance of a video for the build and paint sequence for the figure? Keep doing what you do! Much appreciated.
genial trabajo
Excellent tutorial! Did you do a final matte varnish?
Looks fantastic Andy! But I want MY SHERMAN!!!!! 🎃
Kinda hoping the models including this one I ordered will be shipped from your euro shop soon. Not getting any updates on your order does not help when you spend over $500 bucks up front Andy.....🤔
Looks very good. 👍
You now need to make a full crew for this Tank.. please
Tank looks great. How much time did it take you to paint and weather?
I'd love to see you come out with a 1/16th Humvee !
Greetings Andy, that has turned out absolutely awesome, and it looks better for being 1/16th scale, will you be doing any up gradex sets for it? Thanks for sharing this great build and video, best to you and your family from Australia.
Not a modeller but an AFV crewman -- not sure why I'd carry petrol on the glacis plate (last thing I'd want is 20l of explosive fuel there), let alone track link that didn't fit my vehicle. But it does look pretty good. I have a 1:16 Tamiya RC Leo 2 but have never had the courage to risk wrecking it but painting it.
Outstanding work
By the end of the war the Sherman was perfect.
Just ordered mine! Will be here in a few days. Do you have plans for more 1/16 scale kits? Would love to see a Panther, M48/60, Chieftain etc. my next order is the tiger on Friday for my birthday so going to be busy!
Looks amazing. Just wondering, how much paint do you need to give a 1/16 tank a single layer of paint ?
Love these videos. What brand airbrush do you typically use?
Andy- any chance we’ll see a cast hull M4A1?
Looking great- can’t wait to get mine! Is there a kit available for stowage in 1/16 scale? Also figures in 1/16. I’ve done a little searching but there doesn’t seem to be much available in 1/16.
In the super close ups, the Sherman looks very real. If I didn't know it was a model, I would assume it was a full-size tank. The kit is amazing, you must be very proud of it. I have ordered the 1/16 Jeep through your European outlet. Any dates on shipping yet?
Just ordered the Das werk Panther A and the Takom Panzer 3, from Andys wonderful, website any ideas for diorama??
How do paint the rubber tires so neatly from the steel wheels?
Hi Andy, just was watching your weathering techniques. Great. Going to try that soon on my 1/16th Tamiya Sherman. One thing however. When weathering the spils from the gas filler, you let the spil run in a 90degree angle to the side of the Sherman. In Real life this would have run in an angle as the rear of the tank is also sloped. Got to nag something right?
Denise!
工作、キット👍
It's real thing Mann..
I got one and I’m going to turn it into FURY
When does the complete interior come in for the 1/16 scale Sherman
Is it possible to apply Ts-80 on to the decals? I thought it was to strong and could destroy them.
on the first coat of paint what was it called? sorry i couldn't see the full pot!
Imagine if that detail was on the Tamiya RC Shernan?
In reference to "Denise" the custom tank name. I'm looking to do the same (different name, of course). Any reliable vendor sources out there for white ink, on clear water transfer decals? I've searched and came up a couple of possibilities, but hoping there's a vendor everyone goes to.
I'm a little confused. At about 7:40 you show a bottle of Old Rust 0042, but then you show a screen shot of Old Rust 0041. I assume the bottle in your hand is the color your using(?) Then I thought that when you start a different chipping color THAT was 0041, but it's a different name "Chipping." So, between 41 and 42, did you use both or just 0042? I'm in the process of building the paint list for this kit and will be using this video as a learning guide, which is why I'm asking.
One (constructive) Criticism: Need dirt on the wheels.
Can someone please tell me why my model turned white when using enamel thinner and rust effects.? Thanks 😊
Donde puedo comprar a esa escala?
Bought one of these. Both the main hull and main deck are twisted and deformed. Doubt if I can use them at all. This is the second AHHQ 1/16 kit I’ve received with this problem. Horrid quality control.
